@docrock184 The lowest rings at this time would be Skeekins and that would be a good way to go or the Badger. APA is coming out with some very nice rings. Call or email us.
@Mattypphillip LOL... I cant spell very well either but I have one of these on order. I aint got no fancy book learninz... Hard work and saving up for some good glass is the way to go.
@firefox8192 I'm right there with you but I made up my mind to save up to get good optics. I was thinking about some other scopes but this is what I'm going with. It has been a year and I just placed the order for this scope the other day. I should have a video of it in 2-3 weeks if you want to see it. Like all my videos it is the working mans point of view... It's like I always say. Let's all learn from each other. Joe Tactical
Mike - thanks for another awesome review. Just wondering what kind of rings you'd recommend for one of these? I want to mount it as low as possible on my Remington 700 SPS Tactical, but am stuck trying to decide what kind of mount and rings will bring it down to where I can get a good, solid cheek weld. Thanks.
@docrock184 Badger, Nightforce, Seekins, USO, and Leupold Mark4 are the ones. As for height I would recommend for your rifle 0.823" center height. This will work up to most scopes with a 50mm bell. The other height that work well is 0.885" center height.
hey shooters, i'm lookin to get a Remington 700 sps tactical soon, n i wanna create as close as possible to a USMC sniper rifle is this the scoope the Marines n U.S Army use??any1 know n couuld help me, cheers thanks if any1 could help much obliged
@bmin2709 The USMC at this time is using S&B and Premier Reticle rifle scopes. They may have a few of the Nightforce Rifle Scopes. Nightforce make an outstanding optic also. I know they will be getting some of the Leupold 34mm scopes also.
@1LonePuma If you're referring to 1:08, that wasn't supposed to be part of the video. Mike was just zeroing the scope and I was setting up the camera, taking some test footage. Mike was just talking to me behind the camera not knowing it was recording. As you can see though, it turned into some good footage for the review. -Mason @ CST
@1LonePuma Nah, Mike's got such a CUTE smile!!!! LMMFAO....Seriously, what good does watching someone shoot @ that vantage point do? I thought it was going to be a TMR demo.
Outstanding review. GAP is currently building me a rifle using the Surgeon SA repeater with a Bartlein MTU contour. I'm really digging this scope. What size of rings would you recommend that will get the bell as close as possible to the barrel? Thanks.
what height rings did you use ?i have the same scope and i plan to mount it on a rem 700 xcr tactical with a 20 moa base.hope you respond soon.thanks.
@triggersafe I was able to use 0.823" center height rings. Most of the time I recommend 0.885" center height rings for a 50mm bell. Was this fast enough for you? We have the Leupold rings in stock that would work.
@EnduringEagle The rifle is Tikka 595. You can do 60x if you are doing Bench Rest Shooting but for most shooters 25x will be more than enough. Most of my 308 1k setup have 15x to 17x on them.
@mrmidnight32 If you are looking for an FFP Tactical scope the Leupold M5 is a very good way to go and will be hard to beat for the price. (Good Glass, Good Ret., Good Turrets, and Good Tracking.) At this time I would take the Leupold M5 FFP over the NF FFP scope. The NF SFP scope is one of the best scopes on the market and hard to beat. I'm also a big fan of the Nightforce.
@mrmidnight32 i was considering the same ones you are but after looking through the bushnell 4200 6-24 FFP i went bushnell. the glass is great, sharp reticle, sturdy, and consistant! plus witht the money you save you can get more gun stuff!! haha
We stock this scopes if so if anyone is looking one we have them. Mike @ CST

Are M5 turrets available for MK4 LR/T through the custom shop?

your tikka looks like a sako TRG with a wooden stock, which makes sense because sako is the father company of tikka :P nice gun anyway
