@thebacilio: Talking to authorities never gets you out of being arrested. In this case they clearly decided there was a warrant out for his arrest so there was no way they were going to let him go. This is a bit of an unorthodox approach to dealing with over zealous cops bent on arresting you, which is always a major inconvenience, but I have to admire it.

Complete nonsense, the police must inform you why you are being detained or arrested or they are in violation of the civil rights act. They must explain to you what they or another party are accusing you of and if they can not, they are committing fraud.
You know, I realize I have certain inailienable, God given rights as a man on this earth. Such as to eat, and drink, to be clothed and housed, to live with a relatively free conscience, and to work to maintain all of that. The cops were acting unlawfully, they cannot simply arrest someone without stating the reason for it. If they have an endorsed warrant then they must present it to him. By refusing to acknowledge his understanding he was refusing to put himself under their authority. Then the cops acted even further illegally by attempting to tazer him. At that point he acted upon his right to protect himself from assault. The whole thing on video probaly why they didn't chase him.

@thebacilio: Talking to authorities never gets you out of being arrested. In this case they clearly decided there was a warrant out for his arrest so there was no way they were going to let him go. This is a bit of an unorthodox approach to dealing with over zealous cops bent on arresting you, which is always a major inconvenience, but I have to admire it.
