JUST LIKE ON A PC. U CAN RUN GAMES AND BOOTCAMP IS FREE.

Customization is to improve on craps that come with a PC. When I first started video editing on a PC running XP (all "customized"), a 29 minutes video took me 5 hours to render. A few months later, someone gave the office an old iMac running OS X Leopard WITHOUT any "customization", and the same video only took 2.5 hours.

When I said the first version I meant Mac OS X 10.0, launched before XP. What I said is that windows bars were transparent from Cheetah to Jaguar and in Panther they weren't transparent. Cheetah was launched in 2001 some months before XP so Longhorn didn't exist.
Actually the address bar in explorer is very good to have, for two reasons. 1. If a program can't locate a file yet you have the folder open from which the file is in, you could just simply copy'n'paste the address into the program. The address bar in explorer also has a simple but usefull hidden feature. Goto My Computer and type a web address in the address bar and see what happens.
1st usually if a program asks for a file it will have it's own explorer "open" window. a file will have it's address in proprieties too. i find this feature useful 2-3 times in a life time.
2nd the whole web address thing is not a secret. but how often do u use it? once for testing?
3rd since my first pc i never used windows explorer. always liked more norton commander (dos times) and windows/total commander. now on mac i'm using path finder cuz it has the two windows thing.
I ment hidden, as in, not many people know about it. I know that a program has its own explorer but, what if the file was so deep into the directory tree that it would take ages to locate? U can drag'n'drop into the programs explorer.

I know for a facts that production house and TV Stations are now flooding over to FCP because they can spend less money in capital investment and more efficient machines. What YOU do is lower grade than B movies, so not sure if you really know what you are talking about.

Wait, YOU were involved with Die Hard 4 and Spiderman 3? I'm not, and did not, saying ALL Hollywood movies are done in Mac (saying that would have been dumb because it is kind of like saying all pro photographers uses Canon DSLR). What I've been saying is that there has been a switch to Mac and use of FCP due to savings in cost and time. Man, you are worse than college freshmen.

is running a Windows operating system a attack based on Windows is far more likely. Macs are also extremely prone to crashes despite what the fan boys claim. I have first hand experienced, on several Apple operating systems, a critical system error and/or a crash due to fault of either the operating system or some malformed Apple program. Last but not at all least would be the Macs wasteful and inefficient operating style. A single simple task on a mac often results in the "Spinning wheel of faggotry" which locks up the machine until the feeble operating system can cope with the commands issued to it.

Yes, but often when the hour glass comes up it is only shown for a second or so, and the machine is not crashing. Windows is also far more efficient than Mac.

It is not that they cant afford it, it's that they develop for pc because they know people will use it then. If they develop for Mac they don't even have a guarantee to cover production costs because no one has a Mac.

When I said the first version I meant Mac OS X 10.0, launched before XP. What I said is that windows bars were transparent from Cheetah to Jaguar and in Panther they weren't transparent. Cheetah was launched in 2001 some months before XP so Longhorn didn't exist.

Actually the address bar in explorer is very good to have, for two reasons. 1. If a program can't locate a file yet you have the folder open from which the file is in, you could just simply copy'n'paste the address into the program. The address bar in explorer also has a simple but usefull hidden feature. Goto My Computer and type a web address in the address bar and see what happens.

1st usually if a program asks for a file it will have it's own explorer "open" window. a file will have it's address in proprieties too. i find this feature useful 2-3 times in a life time.
2nd the whole web address thing is not a secret. but how often do u use it? once for testing?
3rd since my first pc i never used windows explorer. always liked more norton commander (dos times) and windows/total commander. now on mac i'm using path finder cuz it has the two windows thing.

I ment hidden, as in, not many people know about it. I know that a program has its own explorer but, what if the file was so deep into the directory tree that it would take ages to locate? U can drag'n'drop into the programs explorer.

dude Microsoft is only more popular because they are cheeper (they have more games & software) and Microsoft would never be the way it is without a company to copy from like apple. The reason why windows has more games is because there are more users on windows. Apple thinks of Original Ideas... Microsoft Just follows in their foot steps...
