@ds37 dont give up on black mask just yet.. Black Mask could be introduced in the FINAL chapter.. See, in the Nolanverse, gotham has gotten more and more fucked up by every movie.. First, they were used by the villains. in the dark knight they grew some balls, they had a bigger part against the cops. in the third one, they could BECOME the psychotic villain mobsters,.. As in Black Mask.

The riddler is just a lame joker clone. Nolans 3 big villain choices fit the 3 opposites of what a villain can be.

Ras - Skilled Mentor Foe who actually has good intentions

Joker- Crazy pshycho who really just commits crime for fun

Bane - Beserk but smart villain who wants to solely kill Batman for the fear he puts out

@RobRumney Are you serious with this comment? In the comics Ras al Ghul was apparently immortal.  Nolans answer to this in the movies (which are more based in realism than the over the top comics) was that each successor took on the Ras al Ghul name to continue the League of Shadows. Since the Ras from the opening of Begins was killed, Ducard, his right hand took over the league and the name. If you have ever seen Batman Begins, I have no idea how you could miss this. Its spelled out.

@PsyPstorm Technically he never said HE was Ra's Al Ghul. He says 'But is Ra's Al Ghul immortal?' and then ignores Wayne's comment on that. I personally think Dukat sees Ra's exactly like Wayne sees Batman – as an incorruptible symbol (and in that way Ra's IS immortal – but so is Batman). I'm very curious how concrete a road Nolan's going to take concerning the Ra's character and whether he'll affirm that Dukat truly is Ra's himself.

My guess would be Bane puts Batman out of commission and Bruce has to struggle to recover and decide if he's willing to fight Bane and risk getting beating to near death again. It would explain the shot of Bruce doing pushups and Gordon being in the hospital, presumably after getting knocked around by Bane as well.

@elraver It´s the first trailer man, so they cannot show very much about the plot or the characters yet. As you can see It doesn't even appears catwoman or a single sequence of the movie itself. Personally, I think it will be a good movie even If it's below the quality of The Dark knight
