@smores004Hannah Matt's a naturel flirt. To look at him, or his photos, sexy is the last thing you think, but he proves that sexiness has nothing to do with perfect looks. He knows how to turn the steamy on. I really like him as the Doctor.
@TheSeverusSnape Thanks so much -- it'll be fun to browse their site! :) I've enjoyed your channel also. Thanks for all the cool stuff. I've particularly enjoyed all of the River Song Confientials.
@emmahouli To confuse you even more, technically the Doctor's death in "The Impossible Astronaut" happens during "The Wedding of River Song" and at the end of the "wedding", we see River after the events of "Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone" and before her physical death.
@foccha The thing is if The Wedding of River Song happens after the events of Lets Kill Hitler, River has only met the Doctor once, and that was the time she tried to kill him
It seems strange then that she would go to such lengths to save him
@emmahouli It really is love at first sight. She completely turned her life around for him in Let's Kill Hitler. Must have been greatly affected by him.
@emmahouli Not really - not only does she know she'll be with him in the future, she's spent all her life with stories of him, had her life... centered around him - by the time of TWORS, she's actually being a little selfish there, she still has that fixation they conditioned her with, and probably thinks that... she'll be of no use if he's not there/ wouldn't know what to do if he wasn't there anymore. It's only later that she becomes more independent and properly falls in love with him.
@emmahouli Also, while the consequences where ghastly, all she had to do to cause it was empty out a raygun's battery, that's something you can simply do without much thinking, it doesn't even require a real effort... I say it's all perfectly realistic
@iisakura Not a stupid question at all really, I'll try and answer best as I can and Just for grid refferene I am saying all this about an hour before the wedding of River Song starts
We are lead to assume that River kills the Doctor at the Lake from the beginning of the episode and that THAT is the killing that she is in prison for. At the end of "A Good Man Goes to War" he goes to try and find her as a kid but doesn't instead he finds her in this episode.
Why does Melody not know who she is/still want to kill the Doctor, becuase at the end of "A Good Man Goes To War", doesn't the Doctor go back in time and meet her as a kid; like, I can't remember when, but River says something along the lines of, "Imagine being a young, clueless girl, and here comes this man who knows absolutely everything about you," - so doesn't Melody grow up knowing who the Doctor is? And isn't this the 'murder' that River committed? (cont.)
@iisakura When River makes that comment to Rory while they're researching The Silence, you make the assumption that she's a young (child) girl -- but acutally, it turns out it's when she's a young adult -- in the form of Mels. That's HER first meeting with the Doctor and he does know all about her, because he knows who she becomes because their personal timeslines are reversed. Crazy, huh?
@09winkwink Madame Kovarian kidnapped her at Demons Run and in Melodys own words "I was trained and conditioned for one purpose. I was born to kill the Doctor!"
@Viby11490 It's because she used up all of her regenerations to bring him back. Which means this is the only body she'll ever have. It could also be because she sacrifices herself in the Library back when he first meets her.
@Viby11490 And, their romance is star-crossed because they will always proceed backwards in time to each other. His firsts are her lasts -- like their kiss in the Stormcage: It was his first kiss with her, but her last with him. That's what makes it so sad! This episode bookends Silence in the Library -- that's where the Doctor meets River, and this is where River meets the Doctor. (Presumably she doesn't remember him from when she's a baby at Demons Run) ;-) Besides, she was Melody then.
My Mum thinks that they might be doing something with the plot like Back to the Future and I think River Song kills a clone of the doctor like Mara Jade from the Star Wars novel The Last Command by Timothy Zahn and that's why she's in prison for murder
@BrightStarFading Dude, Confidential makes some of the best fanvids I have ever seen. BBC3 should keep the show based on that fact alone. When they put Johnny Cash's "Hurt" to the Doctor, my heart started weeping.
Steven Moffat, You, brilliant fantastic creator. Genius.
Simply amazing. And You got Alex as River and Matt as Who, the Best!
Ever.

@foccha I just got the DWM which (along with confidentail) has helped out quite a bit on this.
And I wasn't 100% off either, It really does go a little bit backwards

@emmahouli it's gonna be more backwards in the next season. We'll have to figure out where she fits in.

@foccha In confidential they say its because she knew one day he would be very important to her.
Just like The Doctor when he first met her knew one day she would be very important to him.
It seems like they fell in love because they both knew one day that they would, now how is that for some timey whimy action

@emmahouli Yep that's a whole lot of wibbly wobbly timey whimy...stuff =)

(cont.) River was in prison for killing a 'very good man', isn't this the killing?
I'm new to Who, so I'm sorry if these are very obvious questions; I'm probably just to thick to get it.
