The parasite is NOT a bad item, sure, it's not a GREAT item, but, you get a decent rate of fire with tons of range (Parasite is one of the few items that needs a TON of range to be respectable, and range is far from an uncommon drop) it can really become potent. Other good things is triple shot, other direction shots (Loki's Horns or Mom's eye) and Homing shots (I do believe the splits home as well) and you can cause some mayhem.

I don't know what to call it, but the challenge would be: no items except for cards and pills. You can't pick up items from an item room, only from boss drops. Yes to deals with the devil, docent matter what he has you can use him. Jut no item room or shop. Catch with shop- you can buy items like spirit hearts, hearts, bombs, and keys, those kind of items. One spacebar item, and you can't change after your first one.

Here's a challenge... in each floor you're only allowed to pick only 1 item.. either from the item room, or boss room or any other place. So the best thing to do is to complete the entire floor, see what your items are and only choose 1 of them and move on. :)

Jeez you made this game look easy, My first try I got killed by Lord of the Flies on the first floor but but killed mom on the second run and somehow unlocked Eve half way through and on the third run I killed moms heart and unlocked all Cain, Maggie, and Judas.

I think the game saw how bad I was on the first run that it just decided to give me some incredible luck :D But I know I couldn't have done it without help from your let's plays so thanks man!

Dark Jedi: The amount of money you have limits what items you can use. If you have an even number of cents, then you can only pick up 'good' items (0 counts as even for this). If you have an odd numer of cents, you can only pick up 'evil' items. Normal hearts, keys and bombs can be picked up at anytime.

Not really a 'challenge' run, more of a gimmick really. But it is fun seeing you rationalize what's good or evil.
