+1 with every thing in this video especially the start. I'm level 43 atm yet I've only had a few instances where I've actually had the chance to pair up with someone. Lack of both group and guild searching is to blame, without those options it's just a single player game. Once I reach the end game my sub will go with it, the only reason I got swtor in the first place is because I've played everything to death and I'm just bridging the gap until something better comes.

SWTOR introduces new things that WoW didnt have but sadly I do agree that it also uses what WoW was to sell itself.

Its sad, really that TOR didnt try harder to be its own game but even so I enjoy it for the time being, GW2 is a great game too and tbh, I hope to god they really are gonna work hard to make it origional as possible. I tried a quick demonstration of it in London Expo 2011 and it was, quite unique.

I can safley say, GW2 "isnt" a WoW clone, TOR sadly is even if its a good one.

(I might be wrong about them being first on some things but I think that WoW was the first to do it right.)

I guess most people don't remember vanilla WoW and all the bugs it had. It "lacked" all this stuff too and was, as elegantly put, a shit game. This doesn't mean that SWTOR is bad, Bioware is new at the MMO game, so I assume just like Blizzard, they will implement things as time goes by. It also doesn't mean SWTOR is better than WoW, but most people bashed WoW at launch just like this. At least the FFXI community did. Give things time, It's called patience, its a virtue.

the problem i have with the argument is that the boss footage i believe is a world boss. personally i love swtor and enjoy the game, there is target of target in swtor its just not working correctly at this time. also most of the flashpoints are in the imperial fleet except battle for illum and false emperor. it will tell you if your group is in a different zone but imperial fleet and republic counter parts only have 1 zone, vs other planets. the game is not shit, its just not a game for you.

To be honesty, if you don't level you miss most of the experience of the game, it has a pretty good story, and really fun if you have a group of friends to level with. And the 50 content is pretty good as well. (This is coming from someone who still has an active wow account and has had one since vanilla.) And lets be honest, wow was the most buggy POS in early vanilla. No MMO has ever been bug free on launch, nor has any MMO been perfect at launch.

Honestly, after spending many'a years playing MMOs, Star Wars Galaxies (pre-cu, pre-nge) was the best game ever made. It was so fucking amazing, it gave the players so much control over EVERYTHING. SWTOR may not be all that great at the moment, but it has damn good potential. Remember that it's very new so there obviously will be bugs. I played wow for years, and i loved it until it got stale. I am definitely having a lot of fun playing SWTOR. In my opinion SWTOR is having a better launch than WoW did, but thats my opinion, and it may not be yours. SWTOR has a ton of potential and when they add a few more utilities to the game, i think it will be a great MMO.
