  • as a kid i watched tony hart, kids today dont realise we had the best kids tv ever how lucky they are to watch it again on u tube.

  • Art was the one subject I excelled in at school - all down to this man. Vision On, Take Hart and Hart Beat were all regular programmes at our house.

  • The man was and always be known for the good he done for televison not like the wankers we see today - Ricky Gervais and Jonahan Ross.

  • I became an art teacher because of this man, a true inspiration and a sad loss to the art world. I hope the BBC repeat his shows and show kids what a true master of art is.
