As a VT student that just graduated and still lives in the area, I think they handled it perfectly, we were constantly updated on what was going on, but I think the media did take it way too seriously. Especially when nobody knows what these three 14 year old girls actually saw.

Safe does not exist. Only luck. At the end of the day after what happen do u blame the knee jerk reaction. I don't. It's like when a cow falls over and dies the next time a cow falls over u help it back up and become a vegan.. Life is full of people becoming vegans. But I am glad your not dead and like a cow u did not fall over. but got up and ate your veg. May u keep on eating cucumbers brotger.

first off, glad ya not dead, i liked the way ya said my name,made me smile. Now down to business, the media always overbroadcasts the bad and scary because it's intruging and it grabs our attention, it makes us "thankful" and people like seeing others in worse situations than themselves, it also gives the media more views. Also I'd rather be safe than sorry. TSA, lockdowns( my school had a ton) There is also never "too safe" learned that in health class(but never wear 2 condoms, friction)blahbla
