People thought Wolverine wasn't special, until they saw him play wolvie. Literally a few hours after that everyone was saying he's definetly top five, but before that? Nobody mentioned him

Nobody was using Akuma either, obviously they sooner or later would have figured out he's beast, but at the time nobody knew. Everyone was using sentinel, wesker, phoenix, etc.....

She-Hulk was also very underestimated

@roarmonsterful yeah, justin been doing some good for this game, showing some really interesting things you can do with a variety of characters. it's like nobody wanted to learn the game before, everyone was playing sentinel/magneto/storm. the only new characters they cared to learn about was dante, some tried wesker, and others select phoenix just so they have a comeback chance with her x-factor and dark phoenix. it was crappy and boring. much respect for wong and maximilliandood, whoever he is

@Otahell999 dont get it twisted. justin is going to jump on the sentinel/top tier/top tier band wagon when the game develops more. he just so good that no one can beat him no matter who he plays at the moment so he's just getting a feel for the other characters while he has the chance. remember this is not clockwork we're talking about. he's not going to stick with some underplayed team the whole time. once comp starts gettin fierce he'll switch to some lame over used team like in mvc2

@jelaninoel even if he switches, if the game develops more it means that the players developed more. i believe that it means that in the future, more variety will be found, people will appear with lots of hours "in the lab" with some interesting characters and strategies. so even if justin changes to a "lame over used team" i believe people will have their eyes opened. specially cus these characters most used now are kinda old already. have you ever seen something "new" with sent/mag/storm?
