The Amish people come to us direct from the Hand of God. They are the truest Godly people on this earth. During the great flood in my hometown they came in large numbers and worked like mules to help people and would not even take as much as a glass of water in return. I believe I am seeing the face of God when I look at them.. I believe if I get to heaven and there are people there = This is what they will be like. Thank you God for the Amish people.

The only thing I could discern in what I can only assume is attached to an English teacher's suicide note is that you are think everyone should practice celibacy. A few decades after this policy takes affect, we'd also be practicing extinction.

Hollywood drives me nuts. Why does the film industry always give Amish people funny accents and strange speaking patterns? I live in a community where there are many, many Amish. Yes, they do speak English as well as Pennsylvania Dutch. However, when speaking English, they sound just like everyone else.

@maggiebridget09 When I went to an Amish place to buy corn and stuff, they do seem to have a little accent, maybe you just cannot tell because you've been around them for so long? Their accents (mens) reminds me of an accent of what I've heard Abe lincoln had like a very very deep voice with a hardly noticable lisp... Idk...

I thought it was very good but I felt bad for charlie wife amy robert and I think charlie should have a big punishment by jesus I thinks those girls that were shot should all go to heaven and charlie baby should be in heaven too and charlie does not need to get mad at god just because a baby dies and shoot all these girl for it you either move on or shoot your self or get help

This film had me in Tear's Thinking How Hard it Was for a woman so Angry and filled with hatered to overcome all of that and forgive the man that took her daughter's life I dont know myself personally If I could it would take every Fiber of my being But I know if I went on the way I was It would consume my Life and Make thing's No better And if Anything make the whole thing worse I do say I would be mad but If I went on being mad I'd become someone else !
