Whatever 'it' is, they've got it! Thanks for the vid. I was there in the 3rd section... it's so nice to see them up close having a good time. They did a medley with STH in it. One day I hope the event planners put a ramp they could walk on out into the audience for their acoustic numbers... it would seem more intimate and we'd go crazy! I love it when Robert talks to us. hee hee <3
lol why are people dissing Jimmy Page? Put a guitar in his hands and he is a GOD amongst men - Jimmy can wear what he likes and eat as much as he wants!
I think JP looked terrific! JP was never fat; he looked perfectly healthy to me. Women want something they can wrap their arms around. Both men are incredibly sexy, and I just love Robert's personality -- so friendly and witty! You'd never have to uphold both ends of the conversation, that's for sure.
Weight notwithstanding...I have always been disappointed that Pagey's choice in stage outfits since 1977 have been pretty lame. Since Knebworth ('79) he has chosen to wear old guy sophisticated English Nobleman style clothes. I personally think that that takes away from his legendary onstage presence, and mystique. Well, on the 1980 European warm up tour, he sometimes wore a cool outfit (the Nazi outfit in Berlin was pretty badass ) Even just wear blue jeans & a dope Tshirt, Jimmy!
Michael Lee is no John Bonham. No one is! However, I saw Michael Lee with Page and Plant and was impressed by his drumming! Page and Plant made a good choice on selecting their drummer for these gigs.
If You'll listen carefully to some notes that Robert took during the reunion concert, you'll surely notice that He's still able to take those high notes. Only He;s too concerned to not loose his voice during such a important gig. Age is not an issue- look at David Coverdale, Steven Tyler- They're only few years younger but still in shape. Also DC- when he lost his voice , went to jewish cantor and start to learn singing! If anyone saw Whitesnake DVD - know that he still sings in original key!!!
ROBERT sounded great at the 02 reunionso they tuned down some....the stones have been doing that for mick for years now. Anyone that thinks Roberts lost it is just a fool. try to sing like your 20yrs old when your 60 and well see how you do...moron.
Mick Jagger better then plant??? bro, u sound fucking retarted and u r just another rolling stone cocksucker. plant can rock vocals million times better than Fagger, oops i ment jagger
Plants voice was great at the O2!! I've watched the videos on here and was really impressed at how well he sang!! Kashmir made me shiver just as much if not more than some of the live versions from Zeps heyday!
Seriously! Ok, Plant's voice isn't what it was, but goddamn, that was 30-40 years ago! Let's give the man a break. There performance at the O2 was monumental and the boys sounded excellent together again. Like you, I heard the show and if you didn't like that, you're simply not a Zeppelin fan and/or you're extremely overly critical and negative.
its his computer tuning thing...I forgot the name of it...he hits those buttons and it changes the tuning of the guitar. just with the hit of a button. pretty sweet. can go from DADGAD to open G just by pressing it.
Very very nice and the drummer, I think his name is Michael he is really good, and of course page and plant do not loose their talent....love led zeppelin
im not talking about lately i was jsut talking about this video, you made such a big deal out of it. ofcourse ive seen him lately he looks fine besides the reunions coming up
Haha, Pagey had that chicken head thing going right there...Hahah, pretty hilarious. I love these guys, they're fantastic. 10X better music than anyone half their age is doing.
I mean, this was pretty awsome, Plant pulled it off very well. You wanna talk about being amazing after all these years? That's called, Mick Jagger. Plant looks sloppy, and he sounds horrible. He never really sounded good anyway. Page and Bonham were Led Zeppelin. They could've done it w/o Plant.
