Weight notwithstanding...I have always been disappointed that Pagey's choice in stage outfits since 1977 have been pretty lame. Since Knebworth ('79) he has chosen to wear old guy sophisticated English Nobleman style clothes. I personally think that that takes away from his legendary onstage presence, and mystique. Well, on the 1980 European warm up tour, he sometimes wore a cool outfit (the Nazi outfit in Berlin was pretty badass ) Even just wear blue jeans & a dope Tshirt, Jimmy!

If You'll listen carefully to some notes that Robert took during the reunion concert,you'll surely notice that He's still able to take those high notes. Only He;s too concerned to not loose his voice during such a important gig. Age is not an issue- look at David Coverdale, Steven Tyler- They're only few years younger but still in shape. Also DC- when he lost his voice , went to jewish cantor and start to learn singing! If anyone saw Whitesnake DVD - know that he still sings in original key!!!

For Zeppelin I and II he sounded great but somehow his voiced really diminished after those records. It was all falsetto consequently. As a frontman, he wasn't bad, but he just didn't have the energy and panache as say, a Mick Jagger or a Jim Morrison. Plant will never be in the company of those ones.

If you've never seen Mick Jagger perform JJ Flash, then you knowledge of rock and roll will always miss the point. If Plant is responsible for anything, it's bad hair, heavy metal poseurs of the 80s (that died out quick), and lame-ass vocals from Zeppelin IV on up.

What a great discovery !!! I was at this show and up untill now didn't realize that it was video'ed .

I made it to the front row in front of Jimmy by the 3/4 part of the night and it was really cool to see his facial expressions and glances up close .

I think a 'No, that's not JPJ' would have been sufficient. BTW, it's Charlie Jones who was Robert's bassist since Now and Zen (in '88) thru Page and Plant right on to the beginnings of Strange Sensation--and also married Robert's daughter :D He plays for Goldfrapp now.
