You can def see the ones at Hollywood Studios, I saw them there on the 4th and then took the boat to Epcot to see there's and its only about 3/4 of a mile away i think. But Universal is a good distance away, Its hard to see the Magic Kingdom ones, let alone Universal.
yeah, it was great, the New Years fireworks launch from behind each country's pavilion in order that they welcomed the new year. Thats something I want to record this year.
oh my god.....WE WERE THERE TOO....OMG OMG OMG....To be honest I've never experienced fireworks or ANYTHING like that before...I was in awe and scared to death at the same time...LMAO...I felt like I was in a WW3 AIR RAID or something...cardboard bits were flying thru the air at us...we where all pelted with them...it was truly incredible...for a moment I thought I was going to faint!!! Thanks so much for putting this video on here.....
you are very welcome, I'm so glad I was there. I had rushed to see the show at Studios go off at 9 and made with 3 minutes to spare and then ran to the boats to get to Epcot for illuminations at 10. It really wasn't that close of a call, but I was stuck on a friendship boat waiting for another that decided to not leave the Epcot dock @ 9:45.
As a matter of interest, the show designers nicknamed the barge(s) responsible for launching the special endings the "World War 3 Finale Barge." Never made it to a July 4th/New Years show at Epcot, but this video really makes me want to someday. Thanks for having it here!
Yeah, I've always thought that "Oh its just Illuminations" on the Holidays but this....WOW, this was amazing. Its a real treat to experience and if I can recommend a tip. Park early and take Disney transportation from park to park, whether it be bus, boat, or monorail.
The grand finale is just unbelievable!! You really have to be there to get the true effect!!

From Mexico I looked to the northwest direction and saw the ones at M.K. They aren't easy to spot, but they can be visible.

I know you can see the MK ones, but the Universal ones are impossible to spot.

Epcot, at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. I'm shooting it from a bridge near the Mexico pavilion.
