I've read so many of the comments here and I think what everybody said is true. Nick really had his breath taken away when Jessica walked down the aisle. Whatever happened to them we'll never know. But it doesn't always have to be about fireworks to make a relationship work. Maybe Vanessa doesn't give Nick butterflies like Jessica did, but you can tell she is genuine and she is willing to do what Jessica wasn't willing. So things happen, life moves on. It's one of the saddest break ups though.

I think the age difference had a lot to do with their divorce. They met when she was 18 and he was 24. I know I'd feel weird about having a 24 year old boyfriend ( 6 years diff isnt rare for grown adults). You have to remember though that they were really young when they got married, Jessica was only 22. They were young and clearly in love, but things change as you get older and perhaps the responsibility of marriage was too much for her to handle at such a young age. They have both moved on, Nick is 37 so he knows what he wants and has married a woman who will hopefully make him very happy for the rest of his life. People grow up and change, and hopefully she will be happy too.

@ConnecticutsBest - I really don't think this is the real wedding - I think it's a reenactment - they said in interviews they didn't even get the idea for the show until after they were married, so the only video (if there was any) from the actual wedding would probably have been home video. Also, notice that they don't show Ashlee as a bridesmaid - she was the maid of honor - she surely would have been in the video. I know it's none of our business but I would love to see actual footage.

Water works are going now - especially when the slow mow started and everyone was throwing flowers. Love and life are NOT perfect. I got married at the tender age of 21 and have had so many struggles, financial problems, ect in my marriage. At the end of the day and through the arguments, I love my husband. No one is perfect, we all do things to annoy. I think being a Christian has kept my marriage together and values. I still have a hope one day they will get back together.
