2X Mr Olympia Franco Columbu (Arnold's best friend) trained Stallone for Rocky III. If you remember R2, Stallone didnt have the chiseled physiqiue that he displayed in R3. All that was due to Franco. Now, Stallone uses Gunnar Peterson the creator of Core Secrets.

@nenzi671 1)Actually, not to shoot you down, but Franco didn't train him for Rocky III. Believe it or not he did train him for Rocky II. Stallone still wanted to have the smooth look in Rocky II because Rocky was supposed to be just a club fighter, not a top level world class athlete. Matter of fact it took Stallone longer to film Rocky II than any other Rocky movie because it was during training for Rocky II that he tore his right pec during a bench press competition with Franco.

@nenzi671 2 Matter of fact the reason Sly came in so cut in Rocky III was he had dropped a lot of weight to play the part of a POW in Victory. Plus he was playing a soccer player, which are usually a lot smaller than a heavyweight boxer. But he liked the slim look he had in Victory, so he kept it for Rocky III. If he had Franco in III he wouldn't have had to resort to the stupid diet he did for the movie to drop to 3% body fat. He ate 10 boiled eggs and one piece of burnt toast a day for a month
