omg i didnt know about that, yes im not in the US, and no, they dont do that here, I believe this is so, because of the hard time everyone's having, unemployment makes ppl look for job everywhere. Its not exactly that way here. You find a specialist to do home jobs by looking at yellow pages or so. :S

I've actually hired a day laborer standing outside the Home Depot a couple of times to help me move my stuff from one apartment to another apartment in the same city.

Here in Phoenix the day Mexican laborers seem to make up a large part of the cashflow of the local economy.  Things get done cheaply, quickly.

It's too bad that the economies out our countries aren't better off, so that people can find fulltime permanent work without having to leave their families behind. I feel for them.

It's just that, the culture absolutely MUST learn to work both hard physical as well as smart in order to get out of the state of Destitution they continually find themselves in.
