В ТРАБЗОНЕ И ЕГО ОКРЕСТНОСТЯХ, ИМИ БЫЛИ УБИТЫ ТЫСЯЧИ ГРЕКОВ, А В РАЙОНЕ ХАККАРИ ОНИ ОКРУЖИЛИ И ИСТРЕБИЛИ ВСЕХ ЕВРЕЕВ, ОКАЗАВШИХСЯ В ИХ ВЛАСТИ.
ОСНОВНОЙ ЦЕЛЬЮ ЭТИХ ЗЛОДЕЙСТВ, БЫЛО СОХРАНИТЬ ТОЛЬКО АРМЯН НА ТЕРРИТОРИЯХ, НА КОТОРЫХ ПЛАНИРОВАЛОСЬ СОЗДАНИЕ НОВОГО АРМЯНСКОГО ГОСУДАРСТВА.
