  • How do you play the bagpipes solo?

  • Hey Bobby, on the d-e-a-a part, are you just sustaining the a note? Seems youd need a grace between the double a note to actually achieve that. Am I missing something? And please don't say,"Yeah, a brain!" LOL!

  • @ralphsneakers I would never say that. Just throw a High G grace note between the High A's to break them up.

  • Could you please put the notes in the description and the timings

So I could try and print it thank you

  • Yes, it is a lot. So much so that I can't even come close to hitting his notes on my chanter. I'm hitting the notes you played tho.... Thanks for the reply!

  • @BronzeGargoyle On your practice chanter or pipe chanter?

  • I am new to the bagpipes. Why are your notes an octave lower than the original? Did Bon Scott have a different type of bagpipes? Nice video!

  • @BronzeGargoyle Bon may have had his pipes tuned differently. It's not an octave lower though. That is a lot.

  • You Rock! Thanks for all you do.

  • Only AC/DC can make bag pipes cool, for at least a few minutes.

  • hey, thanks a lot, i don't play bagpipe, but i play the harmonic and i would like to correct some things for the harmonica in case of someone like me enter here,

the part of the G-F-E, sound better playing G#-G-F

and in the D-E-A-A, if you play D-E-A#-A# it will sounds pretty good

this is for harmonic, not for pipes, thanks a lot man

  • im wearing that same AC/DC shirt right now

  • Gracias por ser didáctico.

En Peru no tenemos Gaitas (Pipes), pero hay un instrumento andino que podría usarse para una versión andina de ese Himno del Rock.

    Felicitaciones !!

  • Excellent video. Some neighborhood kids knew I play pipes and wanted me to play this song with them and your video is exactly what I needed. Question - have you played this with a band? I'm trying to figure out how to get the bagpipes and guitar in tune.

  • @99bagpipe I have played this with a band. As long as they play it the same way it is on the album you should be good to go.
