Can an 06 fusion/milan owner tell me if the moon roof can open fully (not just tilt up) i test drove a car today and when i pushed the button on the roof it only tilted up. Thanks
@thatslife4388 im pretty sure it opens all the way. in my dad's '08, you press the button forward to tilt up, and you push it back to open it all the way.
Great car, everything they say in their commercials is true. I used to think ford cars sucked until i got behind the wheel of a Fusion and man did my minset change. This car isn't your parents crown vic that's for sure. Ford used to have a bad rep for their cars, but they have greatly improved in just 8 years time. The Fusion I have now blew my 99 Taurus out of the water.
I got one of these a year ago for $17k. Its slow off the line but fun to drive. Manual transmission, good gas mileage, and good to know if I ever get in a wreck I'll be inside a airbag sofa-cushion fortress.

didnt you see that it was to the side of the front of the car? with that kind of impact your head is very likely to go through the side window, i would rather have all the protection i can get
Actually if people would read around here instead of making assumptions the standard side airbags are designed to deploy in severe frontal impacts. Don't believe me read the information on IIHS' website.
the side air curtain deployed to prevent the dummy's head from brushing the b-pillar, thus reducing injuries. the side air curtain deployed a bit early, but it still protected well. and it looks like you need to brush up on your spelling and grammar skills.
@FusionBoy2010 I have a feeling they disabled the front impact side airbags altogether on the 2010-up models...

But, at least you should be reassured that your vehicle will help to protect you should you ever get into an accident such as the one depicted.
Unfortunately, there are accidents that do occur out of no fault of your own; it may be the other guy that does it.
