Flute: Groovin on a Sunday afternoon

I try to use all the standard fingerings. As you know, some 3rd octave intervals are a little stuffy. In regular stuff, sometimes I use the alternate F# (middle finger) depending on the key and the riff.

what fingerings do you use in fast notes of third octave? standard (with all those tricky venting holes) or do you just blow an octave/fifth higher?
