I killed a lot of birds and animals as a kid, I didn't realize until much later that it was unnecessary and I felt quite bad about it. Targets are great, a digital SLR camera with a good lens allows you to stalk animals without killing them. Plus, I think squirrel tastes pretty bad!

If you want the best recipie for squirrel I've ever tasted, try quartering the squirrel, wrapping each quarter with uncooked bacon and sticking it on with toothpicks, and grilling it. When you're grilling it, be sure to baste it with liberal amounts of italian salad dressing....mmm...makes me hungry just thinkin about it

my brother in law flinched or else the deer flinched before he took a shot a couple years ago... the deer ran off with an arrow imbedded in his skull. A few weeks later another friend of mine told me about a deer he had taken in the past week with an arrow stuck in his head. I just cracked up and never told either of them.
