idk I think the whole incest thing in the book was pretty weird. I actually think it makes more sense why he wanted to hurt the main character in the movie than in the book. I say "he" because I don't want to give anything away for anyone else. I think the movie made some very good edits from the book lol. Although I think the book does feature the funniest attempted suicide

I saw this movie the end of 2008 or early 2009 on the IFC channel I think and it was a good movie..It got my attention because Diane Lane and they guy from X men was in it. I don't know what version of "Bitter Sweet Symphony" your listening to but it is definitely not the same. It might be a remix, but it is in no way the original BSS. Trust me I literally just finished the original BSS to compare and they are different. The one in the trailer almost reverses the notes of BSS
