To those who are thinking of going to Malta for a vacation: Malta kills 5 million migrating birds every year, just for the fun of it. Good reason to reconsider your holiday plans, isn´t it?

Malta is OK, i live there now, but for me, i came straight from norway, and i got to tell u, MALTA is a third of what NORWAY is... I think NORWAY is the best place i have EVER been to, and LIVED. MALTA is OK; PACEVILLE is very nice xD
malta is poor country. we have poor education poor jobs. it's hardly to find a job in malta, the easy way to get work is cleaner or waitress with low payment otherwise you have to make 6 years studying in medical field or as a teacher and don't be surprise if they do not employee you. malta's budget is poor, don't be ashamed when you ride a 50 year old bus because it's normal here and the roads are like dirty mountains. people are close minded and want to keep the old culture.

Malta is in no way a part of Italy and never will be. Malta is a part of the commonwealth and a valued part. Independent with her own flag. Only Gibraltar has voted to stay under the British union flag. Many of my friends do say Mintoff was a little hasty in his dealings with the then british labour party. Malta is too small to be self sufficient as Mintoff wanted but a part of Italy, never!
