That is not a JB3, I have raced M5s, many of them (I even have a 2008 M5), and the 335i jb3 is a little bit faster than my 500hp m5. Against the older 400hp M5, I easily pull away they cannot even come close.

Most of the 335i's I've seen were running mid 12's @ 114+ mph w/o any other mods even...Just chipped. Something is off with this video.
i have a 335i - aa chipped, straight piped, dual cone intake, down pipes, aa bov, full suspension H&R coils, posi rear, and from a 20 roll on street tires to 155, i got a e60 m5 by 2 cars, so who ever is driving that 335i with it being chipped and losing against a e39 m5 must not know his cars in limp mod, or doesn't have the chip on, and still isn't driving the car correctly, bone stock 335i's running right should be right next to an e39 m5. Stock v. stock.
You'd have to do a hell of a lot more than chipping a 335i to make it anywhere near as quick, it's about a 200hp difference as standard for Christ's sake.
@rossyboy51288 there are PLENTY of JB3 335's killing E60 M5's in highway pulls and timed drag races. A tuned 335 with horsepower in the low 400's can put up a fight with, and often beat an E60 M5 because of it's higher power to weight ratio. Look up the vids.

But the m5 is 2000+kg while the 335i is 1600+ guess what......
