Thats why you put all your save data on a memory stick, and then transfer your account. You just have to re_download your downloadable content, you just go to your download history in the PSN Store.

After seeing your video, i realized you got a referbished system Sony doesn't give out new systems, they give referbs. Meaning its more likely to break then your last one. i would rather get the same one back so you can get all your saves back and THEN play the hell out of it for the next 3 months hoping it breaks again so you can get a free one withn the warrenty.

well it depends if they give u ur original ps3 back and u kept ur hard drive, you shud have all ur saves back. the hard drive is set to work with only one ps3. if u try and insert ur hard drive into another ps3, you will have to reformat it and lose all ur data. most likely they will give u a refurbished ps3 so theres no sense in keeping ur hard drive.

WARNING PS3 OWNERS. if your like me and play you're ps3 standing, if you have the maxell blu-ray cleaning cd, it has two hole in it. DO NOT use that cd while your ps3 is standing, it will scratch your lens, it did mine, near 1 of the holes on the cd will start getting scratches after a few uses, its sucking the ps3 lens toward the cd all because of gravity not pulling the lens down if you had your ps3 laying down it would.
