  • @DaWebMasta1 of it is so wrong, I would like some of your facts. I can back mine up with science, can you?

  • wow didnt realize how huge it was!!!

  • There sure are a lot of mis- or should I say uneducated comments here. American agriculture is by far the safest, healthiest, efficient, and environmentally sound production on the face of the earth. Stop reading your popular press propaganda and read the facts!

  • @mrmcattleco LOL That's the funniest comment I have ever read on the internet. It's also the saddest, assuming you actually BELIEVE it.

  • it takes alot of beef to feed all those idiots at the mcdonalds drive up window!!

  • Farmin Frankenstein style YEE - HAW !

  • I prefer Grass-fed Beef cattle not this crappy feedlot beef . They don't even know what ranchin' is . Cattle feed On Grass not Grain

  • @4beef wonder if this guy kows that corn is a type of grass

  • i got a lot of respect for the guys that are ridin pens in that feedyard

  • how many head does this feedlot have

  • HOLY COW!

  • @StopSpeciesism GOTO HELL. BEEF IS TASTY

  • That is a very nice feedlot. The people that built it and operate it should be congratulated. That is very hard work, and our ability to produce food efficiently is a very important part of the livestyle we all enjoy. Imagine the hunger and starvation that could be avoided if other parts of the world if they could build up to this level of productivity.

  • holy thats a big feedlot compared to my families we have a 6000 head feedlot in iowa

  • @jansma96 where at in iowa, im just past carroll county?

  • feedlot means Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations from food industry companies like smithfield, jim dean, tyson

  • Bovine Concentration Camp.

  • Bison are generally a free range animal that aren't put into feedlots. They are finished on a grain in open pastures. Make the change today!

  • i live in hereford TEXAS and work in a feedyard and i know that the beef we eat is the best EAT BEEF

  • @divagurl2013 let me tell you one thing, i know were they produce better beef! and that is in Alberta;D

  • lol I'm getting thumbs down on my comments. They don't realize I know you, dude. OR that I lived in Texas most of my life.

  • This is why I'm vegan.

  • They say there's nothing but steers and queers in Texas. Looks like you've accounted for the steers.

  • grits which part are u accounting for then? steers is covered haha

  • Actually, I'm a New Mexican now. :ob

  • did u used to be an old mexican? HAR HAR

  • Dude, over 17,000 views??? That's a LOT. I'm surprised you don't have more comments. You should post more videos.

  • this is disgusting, but thank you for posting to make people aware of where their meat comes from.

  • @BingDar please go eat your salad and arugala!

  • Regarding animal enslavement for a replaceable "food"... What a waste of land, fuel and water!

  • @beaelliott sombody need to feed all he fat americans!

  • if your gonna bitch about confinement go get your grandparents outta the nursing home

  • disgusting.

the government subsidizes farmers to produce crap like this.

  • i disagree with you. people talk about economies of scale and this is a example farmers need to make a profit. this is the best way to do it. The bigger you are the the cheaper you can do it. you can't feed everyone organic beef. it can't be done

    Cornfeed for life!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • What a waste of fucking land!

  • wow i worked on a 17000 head feedlot , that is huge.

  • Maybe Wendy's and McDonald's buys up a large % of those cattle.Any how they ought not stuff Rummenants with GE Corn or parts of rendered dead cattle.

  • @wxyzca2000 Your fastfood do not buy the beef from this feedyard, and for the most part, not from any American source. Much is imported. Why can they afford the high cost of importing? Is it because they think you're worth the extra money in their super burger? No, its because other countries don't have the extremely high standards that the FDA and USDA enforce on beef standards. By the way, Texas was the first state to found and implement a beef quality initiative. Research beyond Oprah, please

  • I feel for the farmers. I wish the government would outlaw factory farms and slaughter houses but then give the farmers and families subsides and training to grow vegetables or another form of employment. Basically, the big reason people have for eating meat is protein but every drop of protein on this planet comes from plants via the sun, so why make something suffer then ultimately die a terrible death just to get protein? There is absolutely no justification whatsoever. Thanks 4 the video

  • @perfectsky5 This is America...we don't need the government to babysit us and tell us what job we have to do.

  • This is what puts your food on the table VeganButterfly

  • Not on my table. If you haven't noticed, I'm a vegan. I don't believe in enslaving and killing others to put their bodies on my table when I have ethical alternatives.

Would you be okay with someone killing a human if it puts food on the table?

There are many ethical alternatives out there. This is UNNECESSARY killing for PLEASURE and PROFIT.

  • I trade feeder cattle futures. I LIKE this video!! :)

  • wow i work an 8000 hd feedyard. i cant imagine seeing something like that

  • That place is friggin awesome. Thanks for posting!

  • Can anyone say e-coli, hormones, mad cow, sickness, disease, and death? But hey, the "merchants of the earth" Rev. 18 make out like bandits. Who cares if rural America is a sad distant memory. Even the farmers are proud of how little they make and their job in town. Success? Modern Ag? Pathetic!!!

  • i push corn silage at that feed yard, in fact we justed finished last saturday. and that is by far the dustiest feed yard we pack silage for. it gets so bad in the evening visibility is only about 50 ft. NOT KIDDING!

  • I work at Lubbock Feeders, i was wonderin how big this lot is? we got a 50,000 head capacity, with bout 35,000 right now.
