I'm no pro, but just a tip: when you play, try playing with the tips of your fingers. It's not good to play with your fingers flat on the keys. Keep them nice and rounded, and try not to use your wrists too much. :D

Ah, I play with my hands like that too somtimes! I guess it's because I've also never taken piano lessons and never thought it really important to correct. I know it's not the right way to do it but it works.

This pretty good for someone with no piano lessons, but I hear as if you're struggling a little, just barely, through out the song. You might be pushing the keys to hard, since this song has a moderately fast tempo it's easier to play with a lighter touch, or else you might drag a little. I enjoyed the cover nonetheless however. :)

When you played you lost resistance in the first joint of your fingers some times(helps get a more rich sound from the keys). I'm also not sure if you just like to play with your hands like that, but they should be more curved like you're holding a mouse. I'm not a complete proffessional but that's wat I saw.

@youfoolishfrog A good tip to keep in mind is to 'play with your fingernails'. My teacher always told me this tip, as a way of making sure my hands were in the right position (playing with my fingers curved so that the tips of my nails, not my finger pads, were touching the keys). I hope you understand what I mean, I'm not very good at explaining things in text XD.

You're really good for someone who's never taken lessons. Keep on improving ^^

its really not bad for your first cover! theres this thing that you are doing that is one of my biggest pet peeves as far as piano playing goes though...KEEP YOUR FINGERS BENT!!! don't straighten them out like that when you have to play the same chord over and over again, it puts an unnecessary strain on your fingers and it doesn't look good
