Hello Dave, will this work for a single shot remote in addition to time-lapses? I wanted to use this for shots requiring a tripod and then start playing around with time-lapses.
I hav been looking up these on eBay and many of them say there exposure count only goes to 399. Does that mean the maximum amount of picture that can be taken is 399?
@bakonlicious i cannot set my exp count to 399. I am going to assume that that is a misprint. But if you set the exp count to 00 then it will run infinite, i think
hey, what mode did you put the camera in?? AV?? and does the camera set the correct exposure for each shot as its time lapsing?? im have just ordered one of those remotes and im trying to figure stuff out in me mental head b4 i get it :)
I appreciate your work but your website is called LearningDSLRVideo, which implies that you are teaching.. How are you teaching if you don't even know what an Intervalometer is called...
thx for showing me where to buy this tool and how to use it :D ive been looking for some infomation for awhile now. you're awesome, keep making your video! (love the part in your other video where u showed us the shutter speed difference)
@drumat5280 Is the Canon 550D as good as the Nikon d90? Also, do you know if its possible to control the automatic focus on the Canon 550D while in video mode using a wireless remote control? Because I want to stand infront of the camera and video-tape myself, so I need to know how to make the camera focus on me.
U look like mark halmon

There are two types of these 2nd part remotes. One takes RC3 batteries or what ever there called. And one takes AAA.
The packaging shows the latter but the product is the first.

@bakonlicious I am pretty sure I have gone much higher count than that with mine. It does not have a limit. See my gear page for the one I use.

@bakonlicious
I believe if you put it to 0 then its infinite number of exposures.

Hi there! I have a silly question about the Canon T2i...
Can you erase videos off the memory card?
My video camera does not let me erase clips I take. Am I able to take videos then erase them off the card?
thank you~!

@goserve Sorry I have never used the d90. You can control the initial focus with the EOS software but you can't autofocus once recording has begun.

Hi Dave
I have the CANON TC-80 N3 timer. You'll have lot's of fun with it. To start with shoot in AV mode, I find it works the best.
