I love this ride, but I went to Disney a few weeks ago, and some ignorent dude had his leg on the right handlebar, and I only had one to hold on to, next to my dad, and I was screaming "CRAAAAAP!" during the fast part SO loud! I've just took a trip 2 Disney World w/ my mom and 12 others. Since me and my mom are total Disney geeks, we knew our group would spend there least time at Epcot( we were so write!). We decided since we wantd to see the most crowded attractions first, we ran to Test Track once the rope droped and then headed over to Soarin'. It was the greatest plan ever! Best seats 4 Soarin' Section B row 1.

It would probably be a bigger thrill if it went about 120 mph or some type of max used in a real GM car. Despite the facts that would ask for more track length a bigger breaking time on the track and a faster processor. If you think that 3 synced CPUs make this ride break down so many times in one day, it would be worse at a speed over 120 mph!

yeah, after doing 90 on I4 to get to disney, 65 on this track seems tame.

I think GM wanted the cars to feel smooth so people would associate GM with a smooth ride. But a smooth ride is not a thrill ride.

65 before loop, 70 in loop, and the ride is not meant for speed, it's a test track, hence the name Test Track.

I recommend going on the single rider lane. My bud and I did that we always ended up on the same car. Usually everyone travels in pairs , since this ride holds 3 across they always need single riders. We passed everyone up in line and we rode it 4 times in a row in about 1/2 hour.

my brother goes in sept. and he said there are virtually no waits. plus if u stay at a disney resort you will get the free meal plan which is a major plus since everything is so disney priced!

You also get extra magic hours for staying on Disney property, meaning you can stay in the parks past closing time on certain nights.

Disney may be expensive, but you get more than you're moneys worth back (not just in rides).

It is expensive BUT compared to other types of entertainment, it is a bargain. What is a shame is that with the economy of the US going downhill, there will be fewer people able to enjoy fun things like this.

Love this ride! Only bad thing I can say about it is that it seems to be pretty high maintenance with breaking down a lot...but that can be expected from any complex thrill ride. One of my favorites at Epcot, among many.

How does that happen? It'd be the same thing as driving in a car w/o the room and windows. Wouldn't you be more likely to die if you did had to stop (w/o the abs) in a real situation? Oh well. People just read the warnings for your benefit. No one can blame Disney unless the ride was not functioning properly. Either way, I love this ride!!! It's best to go on at night b/c hardly anyone is in line!

The barrier is made of a lightweight material, so if the doors don't slide open, they will just swing out without doing any damage. Replacement doors are kept in a closet close by and can be replaced in less than 20 minutes.

Actually, Test track does have the longest ride track, it is 5,246 Ft. Only 34 Ft. short of a mile.

At the preshow, you should have focused on either the left or right screens. And, if the camera got it, the ride goes atleast 65 MPH. The radar is in fact real.
