I see you have ran into the limited mind of Edward. I just came into contact with Brainouty, and we are aligned on the KJ Only controversy, but opposed on Calvinism.
Again, you just don't have an arguemnt.. first of all, I 'm basing evrything off of what brainout actually said in the video. No exaggerations.
Also, you cannot refute the verses that are in the bible that clearly talk about God's sovereignty. and you're right, calvinism does not teach free will in terms of salvation.
And who would refute the idea of God's sovereignity, that is your strawman.
What we do refute is your view of it, that God cannot handle man having free will.
Calvinism doesn't teach that God can influence God at all. So, the statement you made in the 1st video was a false one. It was the early church, non-Calvinists who held to the paradox between sovereignity and free will since they believed BOTH were true-and they are.
What statement i made that wass false? I did not make anymention of the early church fathers at all. And I told you that I don't care about Calvin or Augustine. I only care about what the bible says. I don't care what you say. You cannot deny the scriptures. They say what they say, and you cannot refute them. I'm not making up my own view. I'm reading the text. You have not refuted my statements concerning the verses I gave you, yet.
You made the statement that man can influence God and that man had free will and how man can influence God is a paradox. Now, Calvinism teaches that man cannot influence God so you tried to smuggle in free will, which you deny.
Your system has God in total control of everything, there is no permissive will, only God's ultimate will directing everything, so there is no paradox at all.
Your verses are taken out of context and just typical Calvinist proof-texting.
I don't know how many times I'm gonna have to pummel this in your head, bro. I admit that man has some mysterious ability to influence God. Calvinist do not deny this. It's in the bible! You saw my video and how I explain it. But that has NOTHING to do with salvation. You are being selective with your listening and understanding. You need to pay more attention and do less preparation for arguing.
Oh, now you are saying that man can influence God in some mysterious way?
Well that is NOT Calvinism. Calvinism teaches that God has decided everything. Yes, Calvinists do deny that. You DON'T explain it you say it is a paradox. The fact is that Calvinism states that only what God has decreed before creation will happen. Nothing that man can influence God since God is the one who determined what was going to happen before man was created.
You are talking utter nonsense now and you know it.
Again, you are not listening. You can't really explain a paradox, can you? Otherwise, it would NOT be called a paradox!! Do you even know what the word means?
Of course I know and believe that God has decreed all things. That doesn't mena that He didn't decree the moments where He is moved by man. and again, that is not free will, that is STILL very much, God's sovereignty. Ephesians 1:11
Hey are you really that dense? What you are talking about is middle knowledge, the very thing that Calvinists reject. The Calvinists hold that God only forknows what He decrees. God decreed what He wanted man to do, man's actions aren't influencing Him one bit.
You are confusing Calvinism with Arminianism.
And Eph.1:11 deals with someone who is saved, hence the inheritance and predestination.
LOL, and you call ME dense! It's no use talking to you. You are simply not paying attention at all. Let me say this slooooooly!! If man influences God, as we see in the bible, that still does not negate His sovereignty over that event. Calvinists do not say that God foreknows His decrees. He foreknows people!
Hey, I didn't say that it does, I said that is what Calvinism teaches. Man cannot influence God in Calvinism because that would mean that God foresaw actions taking place in time that God responded to. That is not the Calvinist view of knowledge. Every act exists because God decreed it first and then foreknew it.
So, you had better go and study your Calvinism. God foreknows people before they are created outside of time, not in it.
That is when they are elected (according to Calvinism)
LOL! You're not saying anything! You don't even know what your own theology teaches regarding the Decrees of God.
God isn't influenced by man, He controls all things and knows only what He has decreed based on His own sovereign choice. So, stop trying to smuggle in a Biblical concept into Calvinism, it isn't there.
Oh, THANK YOU for this series on brainouty. She is so insidious and she looks so good to others because she can, apparently, read the Old and New Testaments in both Greek and Hebrew. She has MANY people duped and I came across her a long time ago and got a tongue lashing from her for daring to argue with her position on hell. If I can remember that correctly. I am grateful that you are doing this series on her. You could devote a whole channel to debunking this woman. Praise God!
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Not a problem I'm glad I could help. The Bible says be not hearers only but doers of the word and he who does righteousness is righteous as he is righteous.
7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Another straw man! Free will is having the ability to choose between two REAL alternatives. No one says that man can earn salvation.
So, sovereign grace teaches that if God hasn't 'chosen' him to be saved, he has no chance of being saved.
It is so wonderfult that God chose YOU, isn't it?
And the reason why someone is chosen and someone isn't is?
So, brainouty didn't misrepresent anything, Calvinism DOESN'T teach free will.

Well done, Jay.
This is entirely the problem; people do not like the truth, have never liked the truth, and will never like the truth.
Jesus said the world would hate us, and it certainly does.
I am really seriously beginning to wonder about those who do not understand God's sovereignty; can they really be saved?
Jesus said those on the side of the truth would stand with him, but that a lot of them would be 'tares'.
Guess what I am thinking?
