Im not from chicago but I live in Illinois im about 2 hours away from chicago,,,I have herd that the OLD WATER TOWER there in down town chicago is haunted,,,they say a person died in there years ago and climbing up the stairs going up there ,,,has been shadows reported ,,,of a person,,its not open to the public but one can get speacial permission to go up in there,,it is instresting I like the old structer,,its very instresting

WOW! I had no idea they tore it down or antying like that. We would drive past there when we were young. Back in 96 and 97. So weird... It would have been cool to have gone inside that house that was there. And why was it tore down? Maybe I didnt see why or hear??

@ndawg79 It was part of a firefighter training exercise. The house was burned to the ground. The other structures are also gone now. There are three new homes on the property.

The new drive way is now katylins way, i would no becuz i live right down the street. my dads friend lives in that white house that was being built in the video. we havent seen anything happen yett. if its really haunted idk but nothing freaky has happend.

The house on the left is occupied and the one on the right next to the silo is still for sale i think. But as far as the "hauntings" go. Its all bullshit, me and my friends smoke bowls on that street. Same thing with Cuba road, i live in a neighborhood that is less than a quarter mile away from Cuba and i have always driven on it for the past 18 years, and past White Cemetery all the time, nothing has ever happened. I've even shut off my lights multiple times as i drive down it and still nothing

ha ha the "katilins way" at the end. i go to school with her. her dad baught the property and tore it down.named the streeet after her to. that would suck to live there.

Wow - seriously? I'd love to talk to your friend's dad to see if he ever heard anything about the ghost stories before developing the land. As a real estate guy, I'm sure he wouldn't want to talk about it at all, but still... Also, there are a lot of mafia-related rumors about the property, but it's likely all untrue urban legend.

The huge one on the right? We drove by there tonight it looks pretty damn creepy. All the lights where off except for the front porch light. Does anyone actually live there? And whats the story behinde that place?

the house currently there is not the one thats haunted. they tore down the origional house/silo around 4 or 5 years ago. i belive one of those houses is occupied.

There was a mental hospital in that area, but not on Rainbow rd. The Doctor who worked there lived on Rainbow. All that was there was a barn, with a 'hidden' basement, and an upstairs filled with bats, and bat shit. They tore everything down a while ago and now it's an extention to Rainbow rd. All that's there now is a culdesac with a few houses. No reason to go back...

alright look, there is NO mental hospital there. The mental hospital people think is on rainbow Rd in barrington or lake zurich or whatever it is there. THERE IS NO HOSPITAL THERE, people confuse it with the mental hospital in Elgin on RT. 31 right by the state police headquarters.

oh no she doesn't, i was saying that in this video that i am commenting on right now, at 0:56 u can see the area where it should be located. i didn't see it on google maps or anything either, and i want to get out of my car at suicide circle and check it out during daylight. another of my friends who lives in lake zurich said when he was walking through the woods to the asylum, he heard high pitched screams and had the feeling there were others around there with him.. creepy stuff!

the house they built there is HUGE! can you guys do a video on the haunted "mental hospital". My sister's friend has and it is in the woods behind the house that you guys show at 0:56 in this video. It is supposed to be about a mile back in the woods behind that house. I'm not sure if it is there or not, but i know a couple people who have been there, saying there was an electric chair, padded rooms, and it was covered in graffiti. thought you guys might be interested..

Thanks for the tip. Did you say your sister's friend did a video on the mental hospital? If so, I'd love to see it. I've heard many rumors about there being an asylum in the area, but haven't ever found anything to verify that. There doesn't seem to be much there if you check out Google Maps
