Rapier is faster yet less accurate...

Cls is slightly slower yet more accurate..

If in PvP u want fast hits rapier is for you (It would also benefit fast bridding)

If in PvP u want accurate hits and combo's CLS would be for you (This would go best with vengeance...)

Out of pvp, rapier is better for long term killing (e.g Slayer)

And CLS is better for bosses, being more accurate and hitting through high defence..

Further, how the fuck can you say the CLS is better based on 1 hit? The Cls only hits 5 higher than the Rapier, and the rapier is faster, and generally more accurate PvP. It's a no brainer.

Most people I know say for PvM combat(especially slayer), rapier is best, but with PvP the CLS is the way to go. This is PvP, so... Yeah... Besides, if you're testing which one is better overall, PvP has too many variables. Most accurate way to test is kill 50 armoured zombies with each one and time them to see which gets it done quicker. Doesn't have to be armoured zombies, just something with enough health to see which is truely better: the one that hits more times per minute or higher per hit

People are completely forgetting that a CLS can hit massive damage, amazingly accurate, With a SHIELD instead of a defender. And a defender even furthers it's devastating accuracy. Though a CR is faster, and is also pretty accurate and powerful as a weapon itself.

Though they both have their uses, and faults. I think they're pretty balanced.

If you like a LS and want to use a LS, then do it and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Same thing for a CR. Just don't bitch at each other like kids.

CLS has an average of 24 STR for every game tick.

Therefore, CR has more damage. But , you may wonder which one is more accurate per game tick?

CR has an average of 23.5 ATT for every game tick.

CLS has an average of 24.8 ATT for every game tick.

CR might have lower accuracy, but when compared between STR and ATT, CR beats the CLS by 0.1 ATT/STR. Using turmoil, you will rarely miss that often anyway.
