Compared to what? Supercars? The 2010 Camaro SS goes 0-60 4.6-4.7 sec. This goes 5.0-5.1. Subaru Impreza WRX STI 0-60 in 4.8-4.9. Challenger R/T 0-60 5.2 seconds. I'd say it's pretty competitive. Depending on how good people are with manuals, I'd say that's a tight race.
I hope they make a Bullitt with then 5.0 motor!!! pure sex!!! Also steve Mcqueen is the best fucking actor from the 60's and early 70's love that Ford made a car for such a true Hollywood legend!
The 05-09 v8 will still kill it based on torque. Anything earlier that's not a special edition (Mach 1, SVT Cobra) and yeah the new v6 will kill it. The new v6 was built to keep up with the v6 Camaro not to not outrun older GTs.
i think when i checked one out last year umm it was cheaper to buy the bullitt edition than the california special at parkway ford in waterloo ontario

In States the price is somewhere $28-30k? I live in Finland and they don't bring Mustangs here. There are several things you have to change on that car: seat belts, windshield, turning signals...

And believe or not, what will be the price in here for the regular GT? In America it's about $26k, here about 60-70k in euros, that is about $100k. Price for Bullitt version could well be something $110k in Finland.

i guess because with 6 gears your car wont make as many revs drivin 60 mp/h (100 km/h) and with 5 speeds they make more revs to go the same speed as when you had a 6 speed cos with a 6 speed you would shift and have less revs where with a 5 speed you'd just keep making more revvs to go faster..

why are the jap cars garbage? because they go about accomplishing speed a different way? they arent garbage, in fact they are technically better than all the other cars mentioned. theyre faster,better fuel economy, and know how to take a turn without flipping.

see... heres the thing those little circus cars need either turbo(s) or nitrous to acquire their numbers... granted some 8, 10 and 12 cylinder cars use either turbo(s) or superchargers just the same.. but the fact is... delete those add ons from those brutes and you have worthy cars that can hold their own without forced aid.. small cylinder cars without those add ons would be rendered what they truly are.. slow and in need of help to run with real cars. ..we must agree to disagree

a nissan gtr is just a 350z with twin turbos
and the fact is they do have those turbos so they arent slow, theyre very very fast. my friend has an sti and we eat up anythin on the road. any mustang gt or corvette(unless its a z06)
usually its barely even a race. sure you take the turbo away and it woulnt b fast but they put the turbo to make it fast and it is.
Dont hate on accomplishing the same thing thru different ways

@babroncos11 Those cars have to run high psi to make the power they make, and that works the motor a lot. Turbos are MUCH worse than naturally aspirated cars, and Fords are well made fuck off dude, I dont drive only American, I drive a Scion(for now til I get a Stang) Stock normal 2.5L naturally aspirated Imprezas last forever.

@babroncos11 Fords are MUCH more reliable than GM. GTO's are fast, but not the nicest looking. Toyotas are long-lasting cars, whether or not they are badass like a Mustang or Camaro.

In States the price is somewhere $28-30k? I live in Finland and they don't bring Mustangs here. There are several things you have to change on that car: seat belts, windshield, turning signals...
So that it would pass these EY specifications..
And believe or not, what will be the price in here for the regular GT? In America it's about $26k, here about 60-70k in euros, that is about $100k. Price for Bullitt version could well be something $110k in Finland.

i guess because with 6 gears your car wont make as many revs drivin 60 mp/h (100 km/h) and with 5 speeds they make more revs to go the same speed as when you had a 6 speed cos with a 6 speed you would shift and have less revs where with a 5 speed you'd just keep making more revvs to go faster..
