I was lucky to have seen the original production .Ive read that Betty way to have sung the last bit in a lower key -but at a final run through before opening,she just wailed it higher,and it was kept in.

I saw it twice in the Park. Betty was, indeed, remarkable -- the best role she's had IMO -- but, as I recall, the 2nd time I saw it, she was already not singing the hig note. Could be my faulty memory. Anyway these clips are GREAT.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting this. I am obsessed with this show. I want a time machine so badly so I could go see it lol. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's Betty Buckley it looks like her, but more importantly it sounds just like her.
