ok does anyone know what this song is about im having a debate with my friends they think its about an ex girlfriend but to me it seems like he is singing about a daughter or little sister brother son or soemthin u know like they passed on but they say because he sings we were gettin high as outer space means they were smokin pot but i dissagree so if anyone knows who he is singing to or what hes singging about comment peace.
Actually the song is about a son dying and the mothers way of dealing with it. Brent said it himself. I dont get the lyrics meaning that. But its him i guess.
@NuttyLoLo I agree, I lost it and had to go buy another one immediately, they have no bad songs on that CD! Plus they have no girls shaking their a-- off in bikinis...
WOW that was freakin great, not sure if it was just me but towards the end the last few seconds of the song Brent looked as if he was shaking when he had his hands up towards his face
Thanks for the reply, I'm guessing he was shaking maybe because he puts so much effort into every song and was just really feeling this one at the time or something, all I know is Shinedown is the greatest band ever and this just shows it because of all the energy Brent puts into it.
i think/guess/hope that he, like many artists, writes sometimes about his life and his experiences, maybe its the same here and he just then, at the end of the song, he lets loose and is balling, i respect that, that should be honored, i wouldn't be capable of doing something openly like that
