The John Cougar Mellencamp appearance on David Letterman's Late Show earlier this month was so sad. He was singing one of his latest songs from his new album. JCM has lost his voice. And when interviewed I noticed the acquired Keith Richards laugh, all mucus(y) wet and disgusting. From Smoking!! He made me think of chain smoking Simon, who is so concerned about his appearance. That's not the way to put it, I've had a relative who has died from a smoking-related cancer (lung-caner) and she was just a very light smoker too. Their are people who smoke and have done it for years! Just in the late 1900's they thought smoking was a cool thing, and it wasn't harmful! I bet you don't realize how hard it is to quit...
