  • To those of you thinking of attending Penn College for welding, I highly recommend it. Dave Cotner trained me when he was working for one of the forerunners of the fabrication industry. The skills i learned from him opened the door to a long and prosperous career.

  • I'm really wanting to get a career going for my self in welding when I finish high school and college and I was wondering what would be a good welding job that pays well and good to start off on as a mig welder like a boiler maker or a first class welder something like tht

  • @azza44100 The director of our welding department here at Penn College commends your intention to attend college for welding. We certainly hope you consider our welding majors. You could visit our welding facility during our Open House on March 26! Your education and welding experiences in college will expose you to career opportunities and help chart your future. If you're curious now about various welding jobs, the American Welding Society would be a good resource. Hope this helps!

  • @azza44100 That's great that you are already thinking ahead about your potential career. You are truly on the path for success. Best of luck to you!

  • Thank you very much. I was thinking about taking a colledge course on Fabrication & Welding, but i wasn't sure if it was my type of work. After seing the aspects to welding and the influences shown in this video. My mind is set.

    Thank you.

  • Im Actually Thinking Of Taking The Welding At The Local College. Any Advice?

  • @PennCollegeVideos Can you give me a tip on how to do a T joint the problem is i dono how to put 3 pieces of metal to do a t joint any tips??

  • @s9123608g A Tee joint is comprised of two pieces of material arranged typically in the shape of a "T" with the two members coming together at a 90 degree angle to each other.

I would further suggest searching for "setting up and welding a Tee Joint" on YouTube or at various other welding sites. Hope this helps!

  • A good inspirational video on welding and related skills
