The following question:

In what countries does BMW sell BMW Security Vehicles? I am a resident of Brazil and I would liek to purchase a BMW Security Vehicle. Is it possible to send the Security Vehicle from a country that sells the Security Vehicle to Brazil (if it is not a country that sells the aurmored vehicles)?

i love BMW but don't agree with the last part. A BMW will always be spotted no matter armored or not, it is expensive and not everyone is driving around a 7 series.

@Cramos2174 It would not withstand .50 Cal, glass considered bullet proof would withstand 9mm, 5.56mm, 7.62mm at most, for a glass to be bullet proof to .50 Cals it would be at least 5 inches thick, too heavy for a car, however .50 Cal only comes from a Barret Sniper or Heavy MG which would be HUGE, an assasin carrying a gun that big can be easily spotted.

@Jsuarez6 they are not betting the ease of 180 degree turn specifically for BMW. what they are saying is that drivers are also trained how to do a 180 degree turn. and believe it or not, with proper driving skills, almost all cars can be turned 180 from reverse gear to forward geat. But it really requires some good skill set to handle the steering, throttle and handbrakes at proper time

@haynakaw999 You don't need to be on safeguard 24/7, plus as he said "discretion is important" (it shouldn't be known whether it's an armored vehicle or not so window lifter is necessary). Also they're most likely around $350,000-$500,000 just like other armored luxury cars (unless we're talking president/dictator/p.m./etc.).

@sinkaz1986 My BMW 650i has run-flats .. Which means, yes, there is protection of the tires and it goes only a short distance and it tells me in my control panel that my tire is going flat, so yes, there is protection of the BMW tires.
