PVC is ok for testing, but their lifespan is pretty poor. The best I ever got was 19 months of lifespan in a high wind area.
I made a couple of sets of blades from aluminium pipe, 3 mm wall thickness, and they are still going strong after 7 years. I really thought they would have failed before that, but they have stood the test of time.
Give aluminium a try, I think you will be impressed.

they look like pvc blades,thats probably why the broke,been there done that,never again with pvc,to dangerous.

put a shock absorber on the tail, so it can pivit slightly

that's why I made mine a VAWT instead. The blades can't bend back and contact the pole.
