  • Hi Sadie, I have a small question about wrists, whenever I'm in side plank pose my supporting wrist (the left one, not the right) really really hurts to the point where I have to stop... will this stretching out help or should I be doing more?

  • Amazingly good for wrist relief from typing too much!

  • Great vid! this really seems to help. Thanks!

  • Hiye, this feels great, I hope it helped my wrist pain tho!

  • i have had pain in my wrist from doing push ups and down dog so i will be looking forward to see if this works. you are a joy to watch and learn from. thank you.

  • your the Best Sadie. I need that for work.

  • You are excellent teacher and helped me improve many of my asanas. Thank you. Here is my suggestion as an Yoga practitioner. Incorporate chakra activation in your poses and get the kundalini flowing.

  • I've never done this before this video, but once I did the wrist clear, I instantly felt a wonderful difference. Thank you so much.

  • ew rice krispy. kripsy wrists

  • thanks for the tip sadie. Related question, is it healthy to crack your knuckles ? most people don't like it, some say its ok as long as the fingers are turning inside (forming a wrist). What do you think ?

  • thanks Sadie, what a great wrist exercise to relieve pressure. thanks

  • I know--it's saved my yoga life! Happy it works for you.

    xoSadie

  • omg i play bass and my wrists are always hurting! my fave yoga teacher!

  • Awesome! Glad it helped. Rock on....xoSadie

  • Wow, that is awesome, I have never thought of doing that. It actually helped with the cracking I get in my wrist from breaking it before. Love the videos, and thanks a lot.

  • Yes, it's great for re-setting the bones. Thanks for posting!

  • would this also help with Arthritis??

  • Absolutely! It will give the joints space to lubricate properly, and won't wear the bones together as much. You'll see! S

  • all. Whats more, i actually noticed my playing increase a bit more now that I don't have any pain holding me back. So thank you so very much Sadie. You just helped to bring my dream of going pro on the guitar one step closer to reality

  • That's incredible--I'm so glad you found this. Keep on rocking it! xoxoSadie

  • For quite some time I've been trying to find a way to fix this, short of going to the doctors (I just try to avoid that) and nothing worked. Until today, when I came across this video. I really didn't think it was gonna work. But I tried it anyway. I heard the little poping rice krispy noises you said about, then I picked up my guitar and played for about an hour... very very minimal pain, I could hardly feel it. and now, a few hours later, I don't have any pain while playing at

  • Holy hell, you fricking awesome. I've been playing electric guitar for about 14 months now and every time I'd try to play standing up my wrist would just start randomly hurting, and it was enough pain so that i knew it was holding me back. Even before i started playing guitar my wrist would hurt when ever I did anything that involved excessive wrist movement. It's been like that for a few years now.

  • This is great Sadie! I have really weak wrists, so this helps.

  • cool thanks

  • Sadie, you have such beautiful hands!

  • wish i could do this to my ankles!!!!

  • Wow! this worked really well...I felt aching in my wrist and it really hurt when i moved it and i done this and i dont feel the achyness no more it helps thanks :):):) im going to try it on my next yoga sesstion too xx!!!:D:D thanks for this! xx

  • This Really Helps, Thanks. I'ma B-boy and I do alot of wrist work. I remember one time, not being able to work with my Right Wrist at all. Even putting little bit of pressure, it hurt. Thank You.

Question: do you know something to do with shoulders. I've dislocated my shoulder before, doing "Scorpion"

  • i love it kneeing dough every day, its hard on my wrist, like to send you some organic bread for your advise, !! thank you

  • That is wonderful! Thanks... I'll pass that on to my "waitress" student and I'm sure she'll be appreciative.

Totally unrelated question...where did you get your very cool black yoga skirt that you wear in a few of your videos? I want one!! ;)

  • Hey-good idea! She will love it!

I got that dress in Costa Rica, but any cotton, well-fitting dress or skirt would do. Think outside the yoga store box [and shop there] and you will find so much sassy cool stuff you can wear.

    xo!! Sadie

  • Man that feels really good! Nice one! Seriously Really works well. Thanks for Sharing :)

  • No problem--its my fave too!!!

    Sadie

  • Sadie, i want to thank you so much for this vid, i'm a drummer and practitioner of yoga and lately been having issues w/ my wrists, but you have just cleared my worries, and i love all you other vids, thanks for inspiration....!!!! :)

  • Oh, yeah--this is great for you! Keep it up!

    xoSadie

  • Namaste.

  • This is great; I've just recovered from a wrist sprain, but still feeling a little pain and tightness. As soon as I tried this, I felt relief! Thanks so much for sharing this!!

    ~Jen

  • Brilliant. You'll become more open instead of the injury closing you down by making some space in the joint too! bonus!!

    Sadie

  • I love it! Thanks for showing everyone this great technique!

  • You're so welcome! thanks for saying so:)

    Sadie

  • Thanks, this really help because my wrists get tight, now do you have one for the ankles and knees or can the same motion be added to those joints as well?

  • You can do the same motion for the ankles, knees need the muscles of the legs to be released, so focus on warming and stretching the quads, IT band, hamstrings, calves. Poses like Pigeon and Forward bend will help release the knee joint naturally. Manual openings at the knee are not recommended. xoSadie

  • really , every video make me happier , i am from Egypt & i never found such an easy illustration for yoga . Thanks A LOT

    xoSadie

  • Thanks, darlin!

  • thank you sadie , i have a binge problem , ur videos had helped me get over it for two weeks now , i felt a total transformation on my whole body , but lately it's been hard on me again , got back to my old bad habits , wht to do? how to keep my motovation into healing up?

  • Hey!

Old habits are hard to change. Give yourself a break, keep doing your yoga, and eat regular, healthy meals please--no more starving yourself. it will make your hormones go crazy, you won't be able to control your eating, and starvation makes you scrawny, weak and not cute...it's so much better to be strong and sexy and human and free.

Do the best you can most of the time, and if you backslide, go right back to eating regular, healthy meals and getting into mastery of your life. xoSadie

  • THANK YOU, i m going to try it :)
