I have a BP80. I like it but it can be a little TOO complicated to set sometimes. I wish it had dials rather than buttons so you could get used to adjusting it visualy and quicker. After a while you tend to forget or lose track of some of the settings. I need to keep a written notebook of song settings
@eastperson For those who already have an RP50, there are settings or 'patches' you can program to get similar sounds to well known guitarists. Look at the end of my full description for the link.
Thanks very much to "psp2rockman" for passing it on.
@benjamimo1 I'm pretty sure it's "ya ya sure" setting number 39 . I was writing them down but lost myself jamming and ...lost my spot..sorry... it's definitely called 'ya' or 'yah' in the instructions. I was playing two notes (ie A note and C note together) for that particular 'lead' so it came out stronger than if I was only playing single notes. All the best...It's packed away at the moment but I'll try and answer this properly in due time....
@benjamimo1 - at 4:45 I'm using number 29 called 'fuzzboy' in the manual - you will find the same effect on number 69. I was playing through a small amp turned up loud...You can download the whole manual here (you might have to cut and paste the link in your browser):
i have rp50 that my cousin gave a while back but i play mostly death and black metal will this pedal be good for me? if so how do i use it? (its kinda complicated for me)
@psp2rockman I'm no expert but I reckon it's more of a "rock" pedal and not really for "metal" - though used along with a metal pedal could be interesting...
@eastperson alright then ill try my best to come up with some effects myself then by the way great video i didnt know this little box could make so many effects :D
@UpcomingGuitarist51 I lost myself jamming that I forgot to write them down as I went - but I'm fairly sure it is "ya ya sure" setting number 39. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong! Thanks for the comment .
Omg , fucking awesome Effect at 4:25 Just fucking amazing ... my pedal is an boss me 50 (really good ) But this pedal is cheap and have alot of Good effects and distortions ... im very impressed with this pedal !
You got some very nice sounds out of your new box! I started off with individual pedals too. Then went to a multipedal setup. Now, since buying an amp with built in effects, I tend to use just them. Advances in technology seem to go hand in hand with redundency lol. Loved your video, especially the intro. You're very creative, and I like your sense of humour. Btw seeing that large piece of green material reminded me that I must go and buy a piece myself for future green screen sequences.
Ferdy, thanks for your comments! I still like the Digitech RP50 and have since learned how to program it . I know there are more professional boxes around but this one is great for basics. I've let my green screen secret out now! Cheers :-)
this is the first guitar processor I've used - I've only had individual pedals like overdrive and delay before this- so I'm no expert. However, for it's price, I think it's great. At this stage it seems quite stable and sounds good. See if you can try one out. Cheers. Tim O
