if your having problems just when u download it and it says like other stuff u can get with it say dont install on all of them and then click advance instalation and make sure there are no check marks in any of the boxes so all it comes with is a shortcut thats how i did it and ive had no problems with it

Bearshare is an illigal operation. I downloaded music and next day went back on to the site. I found that bareshare had hacked into my computer. I searched "the Rose "thinking it would be "Bette Midler singing"Instead it was author unknown and the person singing "the Rose "was one of my recordings that I never put on the internet. Now my lawer is helping me as he said under the privacy laws , what bearshare did was illegal.

the best gnutella downloading program ever created was the bearshare lite 5.2.5. found masses of even the rarest files and downloaded them in seconds. bearshare 9 is crap compered to the 5.2.5. but as people said there were a lot of viruses in there which is not much trouble if you are an expert downloader and know how to protect yourself but i have heard stories of massive ammounts of files completelly destroyed because of an mp3 file
