I would like to recommend reading the book his mother wrote. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, as irreverent it might be. The whole "hate" crime that was committed affected a lot of people, and its so much more than just him being gay. That's just a contributing factor. Hate is all too prevalent, thats why its such a shame he was taken the way he was. I don't expect any or everyone to agree with me, I'm just sharing my thoughts.

That does not excuse the fact that homosexuals use Matthew Shepard's plight to promote pity for homosexuals and to promote hate crimes laws (thought police laws) but only for homosexuals when they kill, slaughter, torture and brutalize little children at a rate, which far outnumbers the murder of homosexuals by heterosexuals. Shepard was an adult male who was into the drug scene. These children, and others, were INNOCENT.
