they didn't break up they are having a break to flare new creative ideas for music. John is writing solo stuff, anothony is writing songs, flea is studying new music types and chad is trying out working with different bands, he is in a temporary band called chickenfoot

Idk in an interview with John - on his new album - they asked about the break up. And he just shied away from it basically saying, "Ask them what's going on with it, I have no idea"

they didn't break up they are having a break to flare new creative ideas for music. John is writing solo stuff, anothony is writing songs, flea is studying new music types and chad is trying out working with different bands, he is in a temporary band called chickenfoot

one of the best bands ever. any one wondering why they are making music at the moment is because they are currently de-banded, this is because they have toured and recorded non stop for the last 13 years. they will be getting back into the swing of things within the next year

They never did "rebel" against anyone, in Anthony Kiedis' book he says he didn't want RHCP to be a "rebel" band such as the Dead Kennedys for example.
So "Where're these rebels now?" they never were rebels to begin with.
