  • wow!! where's yr brain

  • it collapsed when they were moving it to another part of the refinery to make another lift. There was a sink hole under the road that they were told by the plant operators was capable of handling the weight of the crane. Lucky the crane company decided to move it at night (sunday) when there was very little traffic on that road or workers on site.

  • Watching video now and see a lot of blue. Is that a Lampson again? Limpson, Lampson, Lawsuit whatever. What is wrong with those people?

  • lol

  • Hätten die mal auf Ronnie gehört.. Kranlätze müssen verdichtet sein.. könn nichtmal ein bandmaß halten was 10 meter is

  • lol, advert for CAT just popped up on me while watching this video

  • damn Gravity your a real pain sometimes

  • Damn Lego cranes....

  • Post accident. There is no video of a wreck.

  • 0:42 wtf???

  • @smithy83d That was the uploaders gay porn he accidentally switched to.

  • Imagine your just sitting at your desk - and a 50 ton crane pulverizes you.

  • Ah, Americans... Can they ever get something done right?

  • @SMGJohn No, because we are forced to use shitty products that come out of your country.

  • @SouthwesternEagle Oh I don't think it's made in Norway you know. If it was made in Norway it would last a thousands years, besides we don't even make cranes you stupid idiot. Go learn some geography

  • @SMGJohn Norway?? Your profile says Hong Kong, Republic of China!

How about YOU learn some geography.

  • @SouthwesternEagle Sorry you idiot. But I am from Norway, so you can just start swapping you're brain because it seems like it's useless anyway...

  • @SMGJohn Swapping "you're" brain? "You're" is a contraction; it is short for "you are". "Your" is a possessive pronoun. If you are going to insult me, at least learn proper English.

  • @SouthwesternEagle Sorry but how about you learn some Norwegian and better yet then we can insult each other? I think that is a better idea

  • @SMGJohn Nobody cares about the Norwegian language. Four billion people speak English, but only about six million people worldwide speak Norwegian. It's small potatoes, buddy. Learn English.

  • @SouthwesternEagle Oh and I thought I was good in math, well sorry to inform you but we are living on a planet called earth and America is just a country it's not the earth itself. For the other mather, only 5 million speak Norwegian native, around 2 million speak it as second language. For English only 400 million speak it native and around 1 billion speak it secondly. But secondly doesn't even count.

Chinese is the most spoken language with 1.3 Billion native. So learn Chinese then

  • @SMGJohn tl;dr

  • @SMGJohn I'm having so much fun with you. XD

You arrogant, self-proclaimed geniuses are so much fun. I used to be like that once. :3

God I miss those days. '94 was a real prime year.

I can't wait to see your response; they are surprisingly educational. :3

  • @SouthwesternEagle Fun!? Really? By making a fool out of yourself. I am surprised of your arrogance and stupidity

  • @SMGJohn Nah. That was me in the '90s. :3

OK, back to reality. Let's just say this was a draw. You proved your point as well as I proved mine. Back in Comment 1, you said that Americans can't get anything done right. Well, it's the truth. America sucks. China sucks too. I know a lot about Norway geographically, but not poliitically, so I have no opinion there.

But anyway, yeah, this dumbass crane operator was American. Nothing shocking about that.

  • @SouthwesternEagle China sucks because? I have been in China and people actually know how to respect each other and talk in a proper way, heck even the kids there know their manners. And no I haven't just 'been' in Hong Kong but all over China. And yes they can build a sky scraper in less then two weeks, I don't see any other nation having developed from a poor nation to a super power in less then 30 years.

  • @SMGJohn China sucks because of their lack of human and animal rights. If they fixed that HUGE problem, then they would be, without a doubt, the best nation on Earth. Not saying USA is much better, but at least we don't skin animals alive and sell their fur.

  • @SouthwesternEagle Actually China has a pretty good Human right record because you might have heard they do cruel stuff is because they are such a big nation and such big nation needs a thight control. For the animal rights. It's improving really good now, in just a few areas they still skin animals alive but this is getting less and less off, as for that Korea is worse then China in animal rights just saying. And I agree with skinning animals alive is cruel

  • craine operators are dummies

  • I'll bet the boys in the railroad freight house said a few choice words.

  • I think , nonstopactionvedio com sucks cock , fucking spammers

  • skill

  • WTF? 0:42

  • .COM

  • This scene would make for a great Episode of "The Office"

  • You know you've had a bad day at work when . . .

  • löl_ÄnY_gÚys_wäNt_tÓ_chãt_wÌth_mè

  • aha, your mom's a crane. XD

  • made in china, pork links!!

  • woman was driving

  • Hay, Bob whats this bolt for?

  • dam-it boy! ! !

  • At least the medics know to look for Lumpsome blue. The lawyers follow the medics.

  • 0:41 WTF??

  • Call Paul!

  • Someones gonna be mad that you fucked up their ride....

  • I wish facist youtube stop showing ads in the screen, assholes.

  • smh..

  • So this is why I always need to wear a helmet?

  • @SwFt1987 yup...helmets protect 100% against falling cranes, motor cycle wrecks, and falling into a meat processor.....

  • they need to stop make there own home made cranes and osha never checks thats there 13th crane collaps

  • That'll buff out.

  • too bad this one cant be blamed on obama like everything else is!

  • This is George Bushs' fault too.....

  • 0:42 soos

  • Quick Barry grab the oxy

  • No, I did it.

  • How is that Lampsons fault?? the ground was not good enough, it was signed off by the refinery as being good enough to handle the weight. That was at Ultra Mar refinery in the Long Beach Harbour. That accident was in the mid 90s. The truth is that Lampson are one of the pioneers of heavy lifting in the USA and top notch in most of the crane industries opinion.

  • @Rossman012 It's the operators responsibility to make damned sure the location where he is setting the crane up will bear the weight, I've had engineers out to determine if the ground will bear the weight before I set a rig like that up.

If Lumpsome will start paying their operators decent money maybe they could hire some good ones.

  • @DammitDrag start paying operators decsent money? im sure what your saying is that there is better crane hands that are deserving more money and better posistions i think! well i would put the Lampson boys up against anyone anywhere. As for you having engineers determine the ground tolerence you are right,,,,so did Lampson!!! We were their cleaning up the mess and heard all the meetings and Ultra mar claimed resposibility for the accident.

  • Seen TOO many Lampsons on the ground on U-Tube, looks loke they have BP beat for the most Americans killed .... TG it hasn't been on my job sites.

  • @1ogeebygirl1 you've seen multiple videos of the same three major accidents,

This one in long beach, the one in miluwakee and one in australia. European companies like Mamoet actually confiscate video of their accidents in countries that allow it, therefore there are no videos of those accidents. The truth is most companies that operate heavy lift cranes have similar safety records, more deaths are caused by small truck cranes with bad operators.

  • i think the crane just needed a nap

  • Video ruined by spam message running the entire length. Thumbs down.

  • No - Not made in China. Just Lampsons conducting themselves to their usual standards. Idiots.

  • Its BP's fault...

  • Bush did it

  • it seems these transa lifts spend more time upside down than working

  • The title forgot to say, "and scares the crap outa a bunch of people on the freeway!"

  • Opps!

  • Let's see: one building, a realroad car, 1/2 expressway...and it' still early!

  • as thomas the tank engine would say "luckily, no one was hurt.... sevierly"

  • wAs set up as a super lifter,

must of been something stupidly heavy!

  • Sorry wrong accident. Thought this one was in Texas.

  • Operator error. Friend of mine was a crane operator on another part of this job. Said operator took a short cut loading counterweight trays.

  • @1smokinLesPaul ...look at tray setup! I'd bet on it... operator moron he should be

working in a toy factory, who let this guy get this position?... put that moron in McDonalds or jail especially if he let the other operator run Milwaukee!

  • @addvanced You can't even see the tray setup on it's side. If you've ever worked crane rental then you know the crane bid for the job is always too small or on the edge of the charts. It's easy for you to sit back and criticise but let me ask, do you run cranes for a living or have you ever run one ? A million things could have happened here. I don't know the particulars on this specific accident. In Milwaulee, operator was a retiree called out of retirement because original refused to run rig.

  • Made in China!

  • Definitely!

  • @IluysionEnterprise Actually, made in Washington State.

  • @IluysionEnterprise Made in Pasco, WA.

  • @IluysionEnterprise it is a manitowoc made in wisconsin. ps idot operaters

  • Bush did it.

  • how dare you blame this destructination on lord bush, he is the mighty presindenter of his fellow amphibians and preservationer of peace and destructination in the middle west!

    :D

  • You're absolutely right. It is actually a proven fact that Bush is the missing link when man first crept fro the swamps and placed foot on land. Rumsfeld was the frist to take to teh trees - true fact.

  • @syncstation obama did it

  • dough-buggger!

  • Are you sure it is a lampson mess and not a leased crane from lampson, like in Milwaukee?

  • ha , FAIL!!!

  • Inside job.

  • the operator always has the last word,. he can refuse on health and safety.

  • They should have tried National Safety Consulting....

  • Another Lampson mess!....they should reallly get new operators!

  • Cant speak for the us and a but over in the uk if there are multiple accidents involving a lifting firm its always a managerial and maintenance fault either managers pushing for unsafe lifts or the crane are pushed into service when unsafe to maximize profits

  • In the Uk doesn't the operator have the last word on if the lift is a go ahead?

  • yup especially since the gov made us liable for the the crane and personnel they try it every day but you have to stick to your guns me personally Im a tower op as long as I dont take this piss its generally ok

  • @Binbrook78 Lampson CAN'T have any insurance left, those clowns have more fatalities and wrecked rigs than ANY other rental company.

  • @Binbrook78 Lampson has destroyed more iron and killed more people than any other crane rental company.

  • @DammitDrag are you serious!!! come on!!

  • @Rossman012 I'm as serious as a heart attack, Lumpsome is DEADLY ! I've been a crane operator for 45 years and never so much as pinched a finger with a crane.

Most operators I know will NOT work for lumpsome.

  • @DammitDrag well you kept your hands in your pockets!! I have a suspiscion that you dont get involved in moving cranes around that often if any,,i also dont think you were in crane rental, witch makes me wonder why someone would BASH a company like Lampson like you are???

  • @Rossman012 bullshit, I've stacked rigs all over the world and before I will erect a heavy lift rig like a maxi lifter I ALWAYS insist that core samples be taken from the place the crane will sit.

How else would you be certain the ground wouldn't fail ?. Safety never takes a holiday and peoples lives depend on me doing my job right.

Anything less makes you a lever jerker.

  • @DammitDrag When a Terex-Demag 8800 was set up at our plant a few years ago, after the site was graded, we set down 12 inch thick steel slabs for the crane to sit upon. Worked very well. Have no idea if core samples were performed, but have to assume so.

  • @MaxCruise73 And no resulting crane accident, Well done.

  • @Rossman012 He's one of the 10 trillion safety fucks who think they know something about cranes by sitting in a classroom all day beating there chest about safety.. "big brother"

  • @Binbrook78

ya a nother one .. i had to cut one up they tiped over in wyoming

  • @Binbrook78 or better cranes :L the designs are shit... mind you most cranes have shit designs..

  • you are silly

  • Big blue, nothing new...

  • damn i wish i could have been in the building like just a ft away from where it fell inside just to see it crash through randomly infront of me XD

  • lampson crane

  • ooops!!!

  • funny lol

  • Hard to tell but I cant see anything on the hook, anything BIG that is. laying on her side it looks like she was boomed way up it could be deceiving though. With cranes of this weight the ground they operate on is always suspect. A lot of people dont realize there isnt ANY room for error operating a crane things go from A-OK to disaster in a blink of an eye there's no middle ground! Math is absolute numbers dont lie an extra degree or 2 of boom angle or "seat of pants" operating is DISASTROUS

  • @33243391 Exactly right !

  • that crane needed some weight in the back or something

  • NOOOOO the poor train ;(

  • jajajajaa yeaahh!!!!!!!!! lol

  • oops

  • well one of the largest cranes it is not the largest, for that title see Mammoet PTC

  • Lamson transilift 3 or big blue as it is known is the biggest crane in north america she weighes in at 2100 tonnes her boom rises 567 ft she has 30 000 ft of cable,6 miles it takes 11 diesel engines to move her and 3 to 4 weeks to set up so you think they would have there own riggers and comptent people on site all the time watching looking for the unual so that nothing goes wrong come on lampson you should be doing it better then everyone else saftey first should be your main objective.

  • that's the same type as "big blue" the crawler crane; strange

  • yes this is a lampson rig just like the big blue rig that collapsed in milwakee.lampson has more than one and they set up the rig but most of the time have other rigging companies

operate the rig.i believe this accident was caused by poor setup of the ground of the location.the rig picked up the load and sunk into the ground and fell over.

  • Actually, they only had two.

  • stay away from blue cranes lol thats the second big blue crane I have seen here You Tubing all fucked up in a mess.

  • this is how to tell if a crane operator is having a bad day!!!

  • Well Boss look at this way. With the soaring prices of scrap metal you can make a fortune.

  • When are where is this?

This isn't the first 'big blue' crane to go down.

  • pause at 43 lolz

  • If that's what you're on about you're soooo gay but sooo funny

  • ???????

  • Looks like a Vag?

  • thats one heavy crane ,smashed that boxcar and building and missed those cars by a couple of feet ,amazing video.

  • wow bad luck nice film to cool
