Just because he does not salute or place his right hand over his heart during the national anthem does not mean he hates the country. What I favor is that he did bow--culturally, this is polite and not necessarily taken as an act of abasement. But two things did bother me: (1) the extent of his bow; (2) that he repeated this after seeing that they were not bowing. Frankly, what is most appalling is that the emperor did not bow at all. Obama should have stopped when he noticed this. Obama's informants did a poor job.
