  • I wonder if its possible for a person to make web shooters.. no one tried it, but it may be possible

  • I saw a copy of this on a japanese auction website selling at 10yen! should i get it?! it's english

  • I dont like it. What else you got?

  • how did you animate it

  • thanks so much!

  • i one of the first copies from my dad

  • thanks so so so much for this video~!

  • Reminds me of the 1966 marvel first toons! This is what they should have done then! Just needs more older voices for the seniors in the story.I bit the bullet, and shelled out nearly 4 grand for this book.

  • you are awesome, i mean i heard of showing comics on video but you took it 3 steps far, this is really awesome and you should make more. i know it'll take along time but you should keep working on it,because you could have something awarded to you but by the way, this is far by the best video i've seen on youtube!

  • What I have think about the rebout of the Spidermovies is that they may use a more whinny Parker like here sinns they wanna focus when he is in Highschool.

  • Oh my god I thaught that peter had web shoting from the hole that the spider bit him, but he uses a device. I like the movie version better, with Tobey. And Mary Jane and Harry wasn't with him when the spider bit him, hm ok, so the story from spin offs isn't original? And he describes everything he does?

  • @SithLordGryffindor Yes, movies and television often are very different from their literary counterparts. Mary Jane also wasnt involved with Peter first, Gwen Stacy was, then she died and he was with Mary Jane. The Osborns didn't come into either until a later, but nearby issue. All throughout the comics, even in ultimate spiderman, spiderman used web cartidges. The movie is literally like the only thing that went against that.

  • @jwbstudios A 15-18 year old who can make a device no other scientist in the world right could now sounds far fetched. What do you think?

  • @PuppetMaster822 Not at all.

  • @PuppetMaster822

Perhaps his spider instinct gives him the knowledge and the urge to create a workable webbing. Perhaps the secret ingredient that the scientists could never replicate was an unknown fluid immited from his wrists that he could mix with the webbing formular to act as a catalyst. Much the same as his instinctive spiderly cravings to spend much of his time lurking in dark, high places.

  • @SithLordGryffindor - He describes everything he does because this is, as you know, a comic book. If he didn't describe everything he did no one would know what was going on! :-D thanks for the comment, and I'm glad you may have liked it....

  • @jwbstudios Well in real life it's kind of stupid to describe evrrything you do as you talk, so in comic's it's the same. In Manga the character dosen't describe everything he does, they let the expresions or flashbacks do the talking. In the new spider-man, they corrected that. But my guess that era was so cheesy in comics. But thank's for your reply.

  • @SithLordGryffindor Comics were very different back then. They followed the pattern that was set in the 30's and 40's for like forty years. I suppose they figured if in real life you can't climb walls then why not narrate. lol.

  • @SithLordGryffindor But over time the speech bubbles were cut more and more and they relied on the art to tell the story, not the dialogue as much. But theres some originality about the old comics you just cant get from anything today, and thats why I will always pick up a 60's spiderman comic over a new one lol

  • @SithLordGryffindor spoken like someone who hasn't actually read the comics.

  • @SithLordGryffindor i think they both have their advantages the web shooters showcase Peter's intelliegence but the organic web shooters int he films allow the film to pick up the pace. it wqould've wasted time if youu'd shown him inventing the webshooters

  • @SithLordGryffindor really it comes from his hand but the older version he used a machine

  • Excellent, excellent job -Wonderful. I applaud your efforts, and being in the graphic design field, I certainly know how painstakingly long this took you. Well, done, sir - very well done. Thanks for your time and effort.

  • yo dis is gr8 do u no the 1st spider man tv show and comic series

  • Very nice, your love for comics really shines through.

  • tnx for making this vid :)

  • your very welcome. It was a year well spent. lol.

  • awsome please upload all of the comics

  • thanks for the comment, unfortunetly I cannot upload all of the comic because animating them is just much too difficult. I have plans to animate Batman #1 though, its jokers first appearance.

  • ok well do you know anyone else on youtube i can look for?

  • I am sorry I am afraid I am the only one that I know of who has animated spiderman comics like this. sorry! I would animate more but this took a YEAR to do so its just too hard. Sorry! Good luck on your search for other motion comic paint animators! Let me know if you find anyone. :-)

  • oh dont you worry it dosent have to be animated it can be pictures of a whole comic but im searching for some one who has the pages where its not hard toread what the characters says and no i havent read all marvel comics before same for dc but i have read a few they were good but i want more. it dosent matter if its animated or not

  • hmmm...well in that case I dont know any internet sources, but I know on some book websites look up Marvel Masterworks Spiderman volume 1 and there should be some used ones pretty cheap. its the first nine issues of spiderman, volume two goes to nineteen. If you arent worried about color, then get "Spiderman Essentials" volume one which is pretty cheap to begin with but its in black and white with cheaper paper. For Batman get the Batman Chronicles vol 1. I dont have it but I hear its good.

  • allright thanks

  • I only animate things, so I wouldnt be the one to just be uploading pics of the comics but those are some good sources for old comics. I also have a Batman book called the Best of Joker or somthing along those lines that has some old original joker appearances. Thats a good one too. Good luck in your search! Hope I could have been of some help.

  • yes you have been to help but wich website should i go to to find these comics?

  • i never commented! i loveeeed it!

  • FAN-TASTIC! This is insane, I cannot believe how great this turned out to be. The covering of the speech bubble was flawless, I believe you're well on your way to becoming a master animator.

  • Thanks you so much! That just made my day. lol. It took a year to do but I think it payed off. Again, thank you so much for the comment. It really means alot.

  • That was incredible!

  • dude so awsome that is amazing

  • AWESOME!!

  • Very, very awesome! I had already thought the prototype/first draft was sweet, but the finished product was unbelievable! I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this was to make! I'm so happy I was apart of it!

  • awesome !!!!!

  • Amazing. I can see why this took you a year.

  • Great work.
