The voice and the ears are Malamute all the way. He's a real cutey, Mal/Sibe crosses make good dogs, especially if you get the Mal tendency to stay at home and not the Sibe tendency to go jogging for a week or two and you find them in another state. That was my only objection to some of the Siberians I had. Some of them just couldn't stick around, even though they lived like kings. We lived in a big forest and there was just too much out there to see for them. Your dog is really great!

Big cowards (some passing car threw a fast food bag out the window and it blew into our yard, and they FREAKED because of the noise it made), but oh they were loyal and loving. One of them would dig a hole so deep that he could lie in it and you couldn't see him, lol. I'd fill it back in, and he'd dig it up again.

And yes knowitall people dogs can learn some words specifically to mean certain things in the way of commands...but they should be kept short and carefully specific. Dogs are evolved as pack animals to respond to certain sounds within their packs for danger, food, flee a predator etc.
