That is the ending of the film. The build up is superb. The main characters are put under the absurd pressure common in English schools and they eventually explode. It was made in 1968(ish), the same time of the Paris student uprising; although it's a product of the time in which it was made, it is a landmark in revolutionary cinema. Try to see it. It has only been made available on DVD in 2007, so get it while it's hot!
