@RegalTipDrummer it's 4 triplets. practice playing HAT-snare-snare-HAT-snare-snar­e-HAT-snare-snare with a Rlr-Lrl-Rlr-Lrl sticking. notice the hat notes (the accents) are in caps. its fairly easily, just practice triplets for a while and you'll have it no time. most of Grohl's style is built around triplets

I guess I'm retarded and wasn't paying enough attention to the fill, my triplets are sound but i'm still learning the set, I'm used to rudimental drumming, grids, cheeses, flam drags, flam fives, etc. and yeah youre right! I have tried to play it several ways, but i can't seem to get it right, but yours sound perfect. Especially going between the triplets on the toms and the stuff on the hi-hat and snare. when i cover this, i also lift the high hat up and down while im hitting the bell during the verse, and since you have a tambourine on it itll sound fuckn sick, i also add alot of ghost notes and subtle rolls, it's shit i picked up from bonham and now it's just a habit in all of my playing. Can't wait to hear you cover Scumbag Blues Dave did a genius job with all the backbeat in that song, his bass drum notes are so sporadic, he has a goofy ass style which sounds dope and hard to immitate
